So for the better part of yesterday and all day to day my urine has contained traces of blood accompanied with red mucous towards the end. I am urinating more often and it is painful as hell. I am going to get medaical attention early monday but is it serious enough to go earlier?

Update: Went to see a movie last night, half way through I break out into chills and cold sweats. I stay calm grit my teeth and keep telling myself that it'll pass. Next thing I woke up in a Hospital bed this morning with all kinds of tubes sticking out of my lower region. Doc sad I had a kidney stone and it got logged stopping my kidney from functioning and it finally ruptured. He chews my ass for a while, telling me how close I came to dying.

JUST KIDDING!!! I know that's what you all wanted to hear but unfortunatley I woke up feeling fine with only a faint bruised feeling. No more blood, almost no pain and I feel pretty good overall. I appreciate all the kind words of advice and I probably would have screamed ER too had I been in one of your shoes.

Sounds like some sort of urinary tract infection. Probably not serious or life threatening at all, but may be painful and annoying as heck. Yeah, I'd get it treated as soon as possible as usually these types of treatments take a long time.

Tough question, as I'm not a doctor, I only play one on TV. Hmmm, if I had the resources to see a doctor on the weekend, I'd definitely do it with what you described.

It hasn't worsened in the past 24 hours and I can deal with it til monday. If I see a doctor now it will be at a local hospital through the ER, if I wait til moday it will be with the clinic i am used to going to.

Have you recently taken a blow to your kidney's? If so, that's the problem.

Back when I wrestled in Highschool, I pissed blood a couple times after taken a couple hard blows to the kidneys. If that's it, it's nothing to be concerned over.

It could get worse!! You need to go now just to make sure that it doesn't get worse.

Dude, not to call you and idiot, but you're an idiot. Any time you have blood coming out of your body in an unnatural way it is NOT GOOD!!!

Go.... NOW!

Like, and while you wait the typical 8 hours in the ER, bring a big jug of Cranberry Juice. It's good for your urinary tract 🙂

I have never waited more than a hour at the ER.

Get ready for the cotton swap. To go where no man should ever have to go. Ouch.

You need to see a doc asap. If it is a UTI and if you wait too long it can become very complicated and very painful and expect to stay a few days if it spreads. There is some condition you can get from an untreated UTI and that requires the hospital stay. Go now before it gets any worse. My wife's a nurse and she tells me horror stories about people not coming in right away to get it treated. Might be something else but it is still serious if there is blood.

Get to the dr. It could be a simple UTI, but it could also be a more dangerous kidney infection, which can worsen very quickly, and end up hospitalizing you.

I fell 80 stories and impaled myself on a stop sign. Initially I bled nearly to death and sustained blunt force trauma, but it hasn't gotten worse in the last 24 hours so I should be fine.

Am I crazy or could it wait till Monday? If I'm crazy I blame the stop sign. Those things drive me nuts sometimes. I mean yeah, it did it's job, it stopped me, but in a very violent manner. Voilent stop signs need to be stopped....or something like that.

Well I'm going to go pass out now, hope everything works out for you better than it did for me.

element, quit yer bitching. this is a real medical emergency, you however are just looking for attention, simply because you fell 80 stories?

baby

😉

I have only been to the ER once, when I was 4 yrs. old for stiches. Anything that was ever wrong with me wasn't life treatening so it could wait, don't really see how it could get that much worse in 36 hours.
