That happened to me via text message last week. All of a sudden I'm getting bombarded with texts from four different numbers all offering the same lowball amount. When I hold firm on my counter offer, all of them stopped, even the ones I hadn't responded to.

Everyone else I ever meet comes with 1, or 2, Chinese come with 4+.

Around here, it's pretty common for Chinese to have multiple families in one household too, so that might explain it.
