I'd just like to have an M1 Abrams tank. No ammo needed. Just shut me inside and the zombies aren't getting in.

If I ever had to go to Isla Sorna, or The Lost World from Jurassic Park, then I'd like to have the tank with me there, too. No damn dino can even dent a tank.

I believe one of the bigger herbavores, an aptosaurus for an example at 30 tons could probably dent a tent if it stepped on one.

No way. M1A1 is 50+tons, and armored. The Apatosaur might be 30 tons, but is organic.

I suppose one could probably rock a tank if it wanted to, but couldn't hurt it. I'd be safe and sound inside.

No, if the tank doesn't get dented, then think physics. If your car didn't dent when you crash, then yo uwould be dead from teh shock.

Even if your SUV collides with my 5 series (let's say this simulates dinosaur vs tank), and you're the bigger guy, you will get damaged. If you want to say no denting at all, you will be thrown around pretty damn hard in that tank.

Where exactly would you be "thrown" when a dinosaur stepped on your tank?

The above is probably the most ridiculous question I've ever asked.
Nowhere. If a 30 ton dino steps on a 50 ton tank, the tank doesn't move. If the dino makes a concerted effort to move the tank, like trying to roll it over, that means the dino is trying to move something that weighs 20 more TONS than it does.
Not likely.
And you are totally safe from any predator in the tank...I wouldn't be too worried about the herbivores anyway.

Imagine some evil scientists have taken Jessica Alba hostage. They want to turn her into a super zombie. You hear her cry for help, "SOMEBODY SAVE ME! THE ONE WHO DOES GETS POON FROM ME!" You have 48 hours to rescue her before she starts eating you out (hehehe). Everyone else is dead, so no help is on the way. All you have is a pair of jeans, a pair of converse, a black T, a kevlar vest, and a swiss army knife. All help is dead, and the city is under strict quarantine.

What single firearm will you choose? Be realistic here. No fanwanking allowed. As for ammo (if any), it will be scattered all over the city (from dead soldiers).

Personally, mine would probably be the P90. Strong, fast, and plenty of stopping power with the armor piercing rounds.
AK-47 with 100-round drum magazines. Big and fast rounds - can penetrate brick and concrete walls... one round is enough to rip a limb off (they aint gonna be chasing me with no legs) and a single headshot is enough to take the whole damn head off. The gun is pretty accurate to 300m or so, and not too unwieldy for close quarters.

Another option is the IMI Tavor. Very accurate to long range, small and its bullpup design is great for close quarters. The downside - uses wimpy 5.56NATO ammo, and only has a 30-round magazine.

since when does am AK round rip your head off?
The shockwave from the spall of an AK round will tear a huge hole at the exit. If a round is placed properly it'll certainly destroy the head... it's not going to totally blow it off, but will certainly pop the brain.

I'll stick with my AR. I would want to have a EOTech over my irons though.

But that dream will become reality soon enough. :)

I was going to agree with the people saying m4 w/ grenade launcher, but then someone pointed out you could get a 100 round drum on an AK (it had slipped my mind). That almost swayed me but then I figured carrying around a 100 round drum would suck, so I would go with the m4 w/ grenade launcher and all the accesories (scope, laser, etc).

Having played Doom for endless hours, trying every concievable combination of weapons (of those available in the game) and also playing Wolf3d until my mouse wore out I can say with the authority of an expert that the flame thrower is the best weapon againt zombies seconded by the combat shotgun.

Now to the more important question:

Why would you want to get funky with a zombie, even Jessica Alba's zombie, which you just torched or blasted to bits with a shotgun? Banging a blood drained, lifeless, animated corpse strikes me as being off at the far end of kinky, like scoring with Anne Coulter or something.

Are we talking about "House of the Dead" zombies which can be killed, or are we talking "Thriller" zombies from the Michael Jackson video? Zombies like that can't be killed, are already in an advanced state of decomposition, and have amazing dance moves.

You might be able to dance along with them in a synchronized fashion to get on their good side, and a moonwalk would almost surely impress them.
