I agree, but you really can't go wrong with either. Both are good systems, I happen to prefer XBOX more.

I'm considering buying the Black Friday @ CC X-Box bundle for $179.99 (Clone Wars and Tetris worlds) with free starter kit.
Here's our situation
- I'm not really into FPS or sports games.
- We don't have a DVD Player for our bedroom TV, so we could use the X-Box to watch DVD movies.
- We have DSL broadband with WiFi.
- Do you consider this to be a Hot Deal on an X-Box?
- Is there a new X-Box coming out soon?
Thank you for your advice.

If it's the starter kit I'm thinking off, it comes with Mechassault, a year of x-box live, and some other stuff.
i don't think its the xbox live starter kit, but i might be wrong..
Yeah. If it's some cheesy starter kit like the one someone else was talking about, then the deal really isn't that special.
The Wal-Mart bundle is exclusive and slightly different than the normal Zelda bundle. It includes a free 16-disc game case. Also, you don'e have to mod your GC to run all kinds of cool stuff on it. You just need a BBA + PSO and soon you can do it with a BBA + Action Replay.Originally posted by: murphy55d
There's at least one Gamecube bundle deal on black friday... 79 bucks for a GC and a Zelda bonus disc at WM. Of course, no DVD player.
I love my Xbox but if you don't like sports or racing games, then I dunno if you'd get full use out of your Xbox.
You can put a mod-chip in your Xbox and do all kinds of crazy things..check out http://www.xbox-scene.com
SCII is almost identical on all consoles and is most popular on GC (Thanks to Link). Halo is on PC in higher resolutions. Neither of these bode well as a reason to be impressed by the XBOX versions 🙂 (Pst, buy a GC)Originally posted by: ed21x
i vote for the gamecube. I mean, chances are, you already have a DVD player, and if you don't, a gamecube and separate dvd player together is still about the same price as that package. However, the GC seems to sport better titles. I havn't really been impressed with anything on the XBox except for Soul Calibur 2 and Halo.

I might go with GC but I'm not a big fan of Zelda.
Besides Mario what other exclusive content does GC have to offer?

You really don't like it? Everyone that I know who has played it loved it. To each his own, I guess. You're right about the GC controller. It's way too small. I bought my own larger controller for my roomate's cube.
