My next door neighbor has the gigantic rott. They keep it locked up but it gets out from time to time. Yesterday it got loose and was in my yard. I am now afraid to go to the mailbox or to do simple chores in the yard without carrying a heavy weapon. Laugh all you want, I am scared of those stupid things. They kill more people than any other breed.
Why do people have to have these enormous dogs that can kill people? It's stupid. When you can't even feel safe in your rural neighborhood where there is absolutely no crime because your neighbor has a giant, vicious dog, it's pretty bad.
Update - March, 13.
My other neighbor on the opposite of me stopped me today and asked me if I had seen the rottweiler. I told her yes. She then tells me that stupid beast chased her husband from his car into his house. The infernal cur scratched and clawed their front door as it tried to tear it down.
So, the dog is violent and a potential threat to anyone in my neighborhood. This guy who was chased was merely going to his car when the dog came after him. They have a 1 year old daughter. The mother was telling me how sick it made her to think if had been her and her daughter going to the car. Her husband went to the owner of the dog and confronted her. Apparently the old woman is a bit off her rocker. He got nowhere with her. She said the dogs were secure, but they have been seen by me and by the other neighbor at least three times the past month running loose. Not only is there one rott, there's actually two, a male and a female.
We're all scared to death now to even go to our cars. DAMN YOU!!!!!!!!!!
