I use to buy all my supliments from planetdepot.com, Whey protein, animal pak (multivitamin), glutamine, creatine, amino acid capsules, and weight gainer. People from another forum (big fold and b*dybuilding) mentioned ezpricematch(www.ezpricematch.com). They pricematch any suppliment on the net and take an additional 5% off. I order 10lbs of whey protein and it cost $40.84. If you private message me with your email address I can email you an additional 5% off coupon code. Make sure this email address is not yet registered with easypricematch.com or you wont be able to get the 5% coupon.

Copied from another site to explain how this website works:

ODpunisher (from big fold)
How this works is that after you add one of their products to your cart, it allows you to insert the url of any website that has that product for cheaper than them. They also ask you for that site's price and when you hit the pricebust button it automatically calculates the new price. I assume they verify this so don't try making some phony website to pm.

I've done the samething too and saved a lot of money on whey, zma, creatine, and glutamine

Good post!

storm897, I assume it was Optimum whey that you bought (good stuff, btw). Where did you pricematch to get that price? And was that a delivered price?

COuld you PM me the 5% coupon please?

Would people be willing to post lowest prices from other sites so that we can get the best pricematch?

Muscleshoppe.com has some awesome prices.

Muscleshoppe.com has some awesome prices.

I pricematched my 100 Optimum Nutrition Whey protein to:
http://planetdepot.com/ProductDetail.asp?Product=1121
21.99 for 5lbs

Some additional great pricematchs are:
Animal pak from universal
$18.66 for 44 packets
http://planetdepot.com/ProductDetail.asp?Product=1155

Glutamine Powder (Optimum Nutrition)
$33.99 1000g L-Glutamine Powder
http://planetdepot.com/ProductDetail.asp?Product=1340

Other websites for pricematching are:
www.dpsnutrition.com
www.advantagesupplements.com

Remember that these are just for pricematching and that you get 5% off this price.

In addition if you private message me your email address I will have ezpricematch send you an email. Ezpricematch sends you the coupon directly but somehow it matches the email that I type in to the referal center to make a unique 5% coupon for each email address. So send me your email and I will send you the coupon.

Thanks,
Oren

22 people should have the 5% coupons now. I also had people ask for the coupon but not provide me there email. You have to provide your email to get the coupon. Also, lets start finding places that have good prices on suppliments and post them in this thread so everyone saves when pricematching to ezpricematch.com.

Thanks
Oren

I am a D1 college swimmer, and I need to take in 200 grams of protein a day--and it ain't happening.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what a good protein supplement would be? I lift 4 days a week, but I'm not interested in getting 'huge'.

This supplement will probably have to be all-natural in order to comply with NCAA.

Thanks for any suggestions!

8 oz Soy Milk + Frozen Banana + 1-2tbsp Peanut Butter + 4 tbsp honey + 2tbsp whey powder = a delicious chocolate peanut butter banana shake a lot healthier than Dairy Queen. Though I'm amazed at watching people at the mall and so forth put ice in smoothies. Freeze the fruit! Ice waters it down. Duh.

Well most Whey Proteins give you between 18 - 24 grams per serving depending on the product. Whey is derived from milk, so it is 100% natural, just make sure you are getting 100% PURE whey with nothing else added. There is no reason that you couldnt double up on servigns as well and get a few 40 - 50 gram servigns.

pricematch site: www.netrition.com

example: EAS myoplex 42 pack = $64.63 at ezpricematch (that's a "sale" price, btw).

at netrition, EAS myoplex 42 pack = $57.95 all the time. so you'd pay 5% off the 57.95. (= $55.05) Im not sure if shipping at ezpricematch kills the deal or not.

(btw, when you buy bulk orders >$200 at netirion, you get price breaks, and shipping is a flat rate of like 5.95. I usually buy like 4 boxes of the 42pack myoplex and only pay $55 a box...)

I've used vitaglo for years now, and it still looks like a better deal without all this pricematching hassle. Shipping is free on orders over $50, which is a big bonus that's better than getting 5% off, imho.

Off topic, but I have some creatine serum (liquid form) and Ive heard that it breaks down in water, even though it claims to be stable. Would keeping it in the fridge slow down the breakdown or speed it up or have no effect??? I prolly just shoulda bought powder but its too late now so any help would be appreciated

Thanks! I've used Myoplex and creatine in the past with great results. I've had 3 surgeries and hopefully after the recovery will get back into lifting again. Thanks again!

Cleaner, start taking extra protein now. This is critical for recovering from surgery. The remodeling and repair that your body does after surgery is very, very similar to recovery from a weight training workout.

Agreed. Optimum Nutrition whey protein has 23 grams of protein per scoop, and 5.5 grams of BCAA's which are also very important. Just take two shakes of this whey. One scoop per shake twice a day and you'll have 46 grams of protein and 11 grams of BCAA's with only 220 calories (when taken with water).

Nutritional breakdown for Optimum nutrition whey protein is found HERE

It depends on how much you order. I pricematch to places that are cheaper then vitaglo.com and get 5% off and THEN another 5% off because I had a friend send me a coupon so he refered me. So I really got 10% off. Each month I buy about $110 worth of Glutamine, Multivitamins, Whey Protein, Liver Tabs, and ZMA. Overall with the pricematch it comes out a little cheaper then free shipping from vitaglo.com because shipping is only about $9 for what I order and I save more then that in pricematching and then the Aditional coupons. I have ordered from vitaglo.com before and there stuff comes right away. They have awesome service. Another place I have ordered from is planetdepot.com. They also have great service.

What brand is the stuff from Cosco? Tell me and I will compare for you. I use whey protein & water because it is absorbed very quickly into the body. That is what I want after working out. Also optimum nutitrion has a good amount of BCAA's (Branch Chain amino acids) in every scoop. An article on the importance of BCAA's can be found HERE

Planetdepot.com has boxes sold seperately for only $48 a box. Pricematch to planetdepot, take 5% off and I can send you a coupon for ANOTHER 5% off for a total of close to 10% off planet depot's price.
