You can't afford to.
At higher incomes, you do go into debt whether it be at the week, month or year level.

debt settlement. i was hoping they'd make a move. i shouldve waited another month though.
what kind of job do you have?
Completely giving up and not caring about anything is the only way to find inner peace and true freedom.

i can afford to choose not to go in debt. There is a difference. There will come a time in the not so distant future that I will be taking on some calculated debt. My credit score is 800ish already and the debt I would be taking on would be used to make me more money.
While all of you are wondering what to do in the stock market I am slowly investing in myself and my skills.
errr what?
dude you can say some of the off the wall shit. do you live on another planet or something?
Hmmm, hate to break it to you Skippy, but I am sure many of the above (myself included) are investing in themselves everyday. People to get into the six figure income bracket+ playing counter-strike all night.
That's my point though...those that despise credit and swear they NEVER use it are simply low income dreamers. They probably pay everything in cash too because they can't get a real bank account.
i use credit fool. I just don't carry balances and I never said I was the only one investing in myself.
sounds to me like you are sitting on some high interest debt?
Then stop quoting me and telling me what i am. All I said was I'm glad I dont have debt and you call me poor for that? lol.
i think i've had it with the cc companies. everything is late and strangely i just don't care anymore. what will happen next? anyone else do the same thing before?
**update** 8/13
well FML. my fico dropped drastically after missing a few payments. 50+ points lol. enough for me to start caring again.just sent in a $600 payment to cover a $450 minimum due. sigh. now all of you can suck it and get off my back.
Oh please... tell us again how much you make, and how (in your mind) awesome it makes you.![]()
Right, anyone that would say "thank god" for having no debt obviously has some issue with it.
