I'm actually looking forward to the first corvette i line up with on the street and him telling me "Want to go from a roll?" 🙂

Lol then smoke him on the hit becuase he will be all :hmm: :\ 😕 if he knows anything about GT-Rs/AWD/etc.

Most base Corvettes are stock parking lot trophies owned by middle aged guys who don't even know how to change their oil. You need to line up with the Z06s if you want any action or want to be around enthusiasts who will appreciate running with a GT-R :awe:

No offense to anyone with a base Corvette not in that category, I shit you not that's all I see in the parking lot at work and they are all older guys who know jack shit about cars and think 400 HP is alot and they like to park next to other people's beaters in their shiny new Corvettes.

Taking a new or way more expensive or faster car and intentionally going out of the way to park next to an obvious beater out of 1000 other empty parking spaces is high on the top 10 list of the most pretentious and douchebag things to do with a car.

Yep, I really don't think a standard Vette will take you on. If they did, they would get smoked badly. However, if you take on a Z06, I recommend doing it from a stand still. Racing from a roll may backfire on you.

I don't understand that. I'd be afraid the guy in the beater would ding my door.

It was frustrating being a Corvette owner that enjoyed actually beating on the car. Most of the other drivers would rather spend all day Sunday washing and waxing the car. The forum actually go humorous as owners looked for any excuse to not drive the car and expose it to the world. I was amazed at how many owners put as little as 3k on their car a year while I piled up 10k in 12 months while putting another 6 on my CTS.

Go find some 03/04 Cobra's to pick on. They are like a box of chocolates. One day you run into a stock turd, the next day you are scraping rubber and exhaust soot off your front facia while waiting for the ringing in your ears to go away 😀

Ported and upper and lower pulley will give you a good run or reel you in slowly, KB you're going to need more than a tune just to hold your ground 😀 Or you can come to Tucson and hunt me down and laugh at me as I repave the street.

Friend of mine claim's there's a guy running around here with a Hellion terminator who'd i love to take me for a ride. Said it put a beating on his GT30R EVO

Edit - Driver's are going to need to bring there A game to catch me. Blow the launch and they have no chance against launch control 🙂

At least their transmission will still be in their car afterward and not in multiple boxes in the back seat ()🙂

It's all relative, 400hp is a lot.. compared to 95% of the cars you'll encounter on the road. It's that other 5% you have to worry about. Around here you better be in the 8's if you want to run with the big dogs. My pockets aren't anywhere near that deep. 😉

Ah yes, old school muscle. Soo many think they are hot shit and onto something "new" with their supercharged and turboed tiny engines making 400-600 HP don't understand old school muscle had them beat 50 years ago without "NOS", boost, technology, etc. All they think they know are stock emissions ladden 454s making 190 HP and think their "technology" is so superior.

Heavy gauge steel, iron, fat ass tires, chutes and wheelie bars... /tear

Twenty years from now you'll still be talking up the 03/04 Mustang Cobra every day on this forum. It never ends.

Better than listening to a certain someone talk about the Lotus...

True, and 20 years from now there will still be a captionless picture of a stock orange Corvette in every car thread :awe:
