60 days.

When I signed up with bing, they gave me the option to select paypal for my cashback account transfers, and bing said I would get my CB sooner than the 60 days as long as I also make the purchase with paypal.

Is this not true, or did I misunderstand?

I think you misunderstood. For ebay, some people are getting the instant cashback. Stores - not. I think its due to the return policies.

Newegg back to 10% (if it hasn't already been mentioned). Search for "newegg" (without quotes) from Bing.com. Click on 10% top banner.

I found in the FAQs page:

What is quick cashback?

Quick cashback is a way to get your cashback immediately and avoid waiting the normal 60-day pending period. If you make a qualifying purchase from an eligible merchant, your cashback will be rewarded soon after purchase. To be eligible for quick cashback, you must meet these three criteria:

1. You've joined the quick cashback program. (You can do this from your cashback account.)
2. You've kept your PayPal account in good standing.
3. You make a qualifying purchase from an eligible store and complete the purchase using PayPal.

At which stores are my purchases eligible for quick cashback?

Currently, these stores have launched with quick cashback:

* Beach Audio
* Cybercucina

Looks like there's not going to be much opportunity to get quick CB until more retailers participate. 🙁

ebay is 13% now. Newegg still 10%.

Previously I haven't had a problem with using a coupon code at Newegg and getting CB.

It says in the terms and conditions that you can't.....

"You will not earn cashback savings on purchases where (a) you close your browser or open the store's web site in a different web browser or tab; (b) you click away from the store after clicking on an eligible advertisement; (c) your browser is not configured to accept cookies; (d) the purchase is not completed in the same web browsing session in which you click on the eligible advertisement or listing; (e) the order is later cancelled or the goods or services are later returned; (f) the store does not report the purchase to us; (g) the goods or services are acquired for resale or other business purposes; (h) you use a separate discount or coupon with your order; (i) you exceed the annual monetary cap on cashback savings; (j): you purchase gift cards or gift certificates; or (k) you make a purchase from yourself or from entities that you control or otherwise in collusion with other people."

I'd try it, but the cashback is 50% while coupon is only 10%....i'd hate to have the 50% taken away.

Can someone explain to me exactly how this works? Where do I need to go and how do I search for it? If I'm looking for a discount on a Wii..how would I go about doing that? Do I need to use Bing.com or Live.com?

Thanks. 🙂

1. Sign up for a cashback account (it's really just a MSN/hotmail/Microsoft 'account')
2. Go to bing.com, search for 'cashback' and go to their cashback page.
3. If it's a store, find the store, and click the "Shop" button, or whatever it is.
4. It will prompt you to enter your email addy before you are redirected to site -- use the same email as the one you signed up with.
5. Find a purchase what you want, get cashback.

For ebay, just go to bing.com and search 'cheap wii' for example, and click the ebay link at the top. Then you can search for whatever you want on eBay and buy it for cashback. There should be a cashback symbol somewhere on top of page to indicate the cashback is working.

I was suppose to get my first cashback today. I bought something on ebay on June 22. But now it says:

Your cashback reward will be deposited or sent in 0 days. You won't need to request it.

When will I get it?

yea same! here as well for footlocker but i think its possible to combine a 20% off of ebay and the 20% cashback, i would love to be able to use the FL 30% along with the 20%

What is it with all the stores that advertise variable cash-back rates, like 4-20%? How do we know how much it will be? Nothing at the store ever tells you (except ZZF - and they were wrong half the time.) Is it much like a lottery?

If so, they could just sell one item, like a .99 cent pack of pencils with 20% cash-back, then everything else at 4%. Wouldn't that then allow them to advertise the 4-20% cash-back? If there are no controls, who would know?

It's bad enough if it is a lottery... the latter accusation would be more like a scam.

Yeah, "camera" will work for 15%, so will "blu ray", "hdtv", probably others too.

I picked up a Sidewinder X8 mouse from Buy.com's storefront for $65 shipped (after cashback+$5 tax). I still, the 15% made the difference.

So, is the Bing cash back being doubled or what? I'm confused. I do see the 15% for eBay, but is there a way to get that doubled to 30%?
