Bummer, wish I had gotten in on a big ticket item (I used it twice for a few smaller things, <$100). Been contemplating picking up an AAO. You can find some really good prices on eBay right now because of the favorable exchange rate between US and Canadian currency. 🙂
 
great customer service too btw.

The two times I had to contact them by e-mail, I got responses within a day and they were very helpful and accomodating.

The more significant one being when I ordered a paper check to be sent, it had been about a month and it hadn't come yet.
Sent an e-mail, within a day I get a message that a stop was put on the check, the msg was relayed to accounting where they put the money back in my account.

i got in at %25 in august or september and bought a thinkpad.

wish i could have waited, i would have gotten a better deal, but its hard to complain at getting $200+ back 🙂
 
still running on various stores, but not much chance of a really good camera deal anymore. Thanks to everybody gloating about how they already spent too much and don't need the deal 😛

the thing is, there are plenty of sites doing cashback. It's just 4-5% at most on good electronics.

All of mine did except one. The ones that did, I logged in to Live Search and clicked through. The one that didn't, I placed the purchase before I thought of going through Live Search.

it's done this several times since it started in June. Just last week I got 30% on a Ci7 920, Asus p6t deluxe and 6gb of corsair triple channel ram. It'll most likely be back.

I was just surprised it wasn't 35% for Thanksgiving evening and all of Black Friday to keep people out of the stores.

There was a 40% cashback deal on Black Friday but it was only for HP.com and it was pretty hard to get it to work (probably due to traffic).
 
So sad to see it so low, but I can't complain. I've saved over $400 with various 25% and 30% rebates. I'm glad I bought my wife that roomba on BF while it was at 30%!

Maybe closer to xmas it will peak again.
 
Like others have said it's done this before, now I don't think it'll ever go to 30% again, it's not just going to disappear and die.
 
My guess is a lot of people mentioned this deal to friends and family at Thanksgiving. The response is up, Microsoft is happy and they are going to continue riding the wave until response goes down. When will that be? Good question. Maybe never, maybe in a week or two or maybe after Christmas. I wouldn't be surprised to see it at 30% again. Definitely a "who knows".
