Just used it to buy a Nikon D40x camera. Please, please go away soon.....Or I will be broke!

Bob

Be persistant, and the code WILL come up...

PS: Yep, max back in $200 per transaction and can use it 12 times, for an approx $2500 max...

All right, I'm wanting to buy a new CPU. I've been doing the live search a few times now and no love.

Can someone show how its suppose to look like? I went all the way to BIN and click buy but didn't click the "Commit to buy" because I don't see any 30 percent anywhere.

I'm afraid to buy as I'm afraid its not really activated.

This is odd, when I use my work PC, I can't see the 30%. But when i use my personal PC, i can see that 30% even if I check it at almost the same time.

Anyone care to explain this? I am using the same net.

For those not getting it even after clicking through... try closing ALL of your browser windows (and make sure it isn't even running in Task Manager "Processes"). I think basically the 1 hour time-out stays with your browser until it is completely exited.

I had gotten the 10% coupon in email (well, saw it first in My Ebay inbox) and used it on an MSI Wind netbook. Both the 10% coupon and 30% cashback were calculated on the original price.

For those wanting to maximize savings with the $200 limit, $666.70 is the lowest amount that gets you the complete $200.

I recommend looking for free shipping offers, because shipping doesn't get the 30% savings. For instance, a $480 item with $15 shipping will cost less than a $500 item with free shipping by $5, right? Well, after the 30% cashback, the $500 item with free shipping will be $350, while the $480 with $15 shipping will be $351 ($336 + $15). Anyways, if the item you are shopping for has a couple offerings with free shipping, do the math before buying.

Don't do it. I know you eventually got it, but for anyone else who isn't seeing the 30% banner or deduction before paying, keep trying or I wouldn't count on getting any cash back.

Exactly. I've been doing the same.

I can't get it to carry over to ebay anymore either. Tried rebooting, different PC, etc.

Will be ordering parts for a new build for the parents this weekend regardless, hopefully this comes back up for everybody (incl. me!)...

For people having problems, try this

1. Search live.com for "cheap wii". None of the other search strings I tried worked/worked as well
2. Hold Ctrl and click the link repeatedly opening up 10-15 tabs
3. Check to see if any have the banner, if not rinse and repeat.

I've bought 3 things today using this method. It make take a couple minutes but it always works.

I did the shift + click to get new windows, but yep, it worked. Strange indeed.

Thanks for the idea, that did it!

Same thing for me, typed in "cheap wii" and the 30% showed up, but when I clicked on the link, it took me to eBay but no banner with the 30% displayed.

I went back, and held down ctrl and clicked on the 30% banner and opened about 20 tabs of ebay, and the last 5 or so tabs showed the 30% off. Just made my ~ 19th purchase using the 30% off....about $1,600 cash back coming my way.

I thought the limit was 12? 😕

Nobody reads anything these days I guess......12 purchases with cash back per eBay account, takes a few minutes to create another one....and another one....and another one.

Anyone know if you can use this to buy 3-4 items at one time? Will it work for that?

Yes, if the auction has multiple items (where it will ask how many on the screen after you click on Buy It Now).

I just bought an 80GB PS3 with MGS4. Price was $407.00 - 10% coupon + 14.95 shipping = 381.25. Subtract $122.10 for cash back and my final cost will be $259.15.

Not too bad, but I don't know why I just bought it.

So if I had multiple ebay accounts, and 1 Paypal account, will that work then?

Yes, I have made around 19 or so purchases on 3 different eBay accounts using 1 PayPal account. Just read the terms and conditions....

jesus. after the headphones and dac I now realize I need more harddrive space for the higher quality music I'll need.

It's like a flippin' MS cashback soap opera, IT NEVER ENDS.

What's the time frame that you're allowed to make cashback-eligible purchases in, again? Is it every 8 hours or 24? I can't seem to find that now...
