I just did a search, 10% now. And Newegg is now 3% instead of 5.5%.

Woow, 10%. And this happens just as I was considering making a few purchases at 15%, even though I wanted to hold out for 25%. This deal is getting ice cold.

Yeah, because getting basically free cash back is cold 😕

The one thing I don't like about this cash back thing is that if a seller on eBay has their own checkout system, the cash back cannot be used.

This is Ebay, prices are already marked up because of the high fees, even more so now that sellers know that the cashback promotion is available. At 25% the discount can be worth the 74+ day wait until you actually see the money, 10%? Not so much.

I want to buy a new cell phone, mostly the BIN is what sucks, that and only 10%, but I'm not in a great hurry.

Anybody moving to live.com as a primary price search? All I use it for is checking for the discount after I've used my old, google etc. price searches to find a good price.

If it comes back at all. Considering that newegg CB is now 3% I'm thinking there will be hardly any real "deal" per se for using it soon. If you find something that you are going to buy BIN anyway might as well use it, because a few bucks back is never a bad thing, but I don't think it'll be the source of hot deals anymore.

Bah, when I do search on live.com for a product and click on the cashback link that takes you to e-bay, it shows the live cashback logo at the top, it forgets all the items I'm watching and the addresses in my account are old ones I've since Updated....something is buggy with it.

PS3 brings up 15% but no flag comes up. Looks like they haven't updated the backend that allows the higher percentages yet, as the 8% link still brings up the flag in ebay.

Edit: PS3 now back down to 8%.
