The CB goes only to your PP account. There is no option for any other way.

Once you ask them to send it...there is another 14 day hold before you can use it aside fm the initial 60 days . Sux...but hey, it's MS money.

I think CAUG2008CSA10P is the real code. However, it didn't work for me.

Here are some others:
CRTSY08JLY25
CRTSY08JLY500

I wonder who's lucky enough to get the $500 off.

I got a $500 in July, it was S W E E T...

I can now get my cashback, but I am afraid to put it in my PP account in case they take a fee on it...

I'm more afraid of the fact that my paypal account has been suspended. And that 14 days is probably so ebay/paypal can track all the numbers and screw me out of cashback.

There should be NO fee if MS uses paypal masspay (same as when you get FW cashback). Either way I'll know in 14 days.

Quintox, I believe your two options are transferring to paypal or leaving it in MS cashback. ^_-

I'm confused, some people are saying the payout is available via PayPal only, but if you go to payment preferences it gives you the option of either a check in the mail or a bank deposit as well. Is everybody using PayPal for convenience or is it required?

You can select check or bank account in payment preferences, which I have done, but then it only lets me select paypal when I go to "pay me". sigh.

hmmmm interesting, when i checked my cashback account this weekend, 1 of my payments was due today, the other 2 on wednesday. So today i look to see if there's a particular time that they payment is due into my paypal account, and the days have all moved back 1 day. so the payment that was scheduled for today is now tomorrow, and my other 2 payments on thursday.

Yeah, once you choose "Pay me" it makes you pick Paypal. Just have to wait 2 weeks for my $250

Apparently it's in the terms and conditions that if you get cashback from ebay, it has to be through paypal.

Do you know if you can just keep the money in Paypal and use it immediately for other transactions through paypal?

Absolutely. Paypal actually prefers you keep funds with them as they earn interest on it, but you can spend it anytime once it clears to your account.

However, it's probably better to move the funds out of paypal ASAP so you'll be able to use your CC for the full balance. If there turns out to be a problem you can always to a chargeback if you use your CC. If you have a paypal balance you are forced to use that first and if there is any trouble you might never see that money again. After reading about some paypal horror stories, I think it's better safe than sorry.

The things that I would be ordering using the paypal balance, I'm not too concerned about. Other than that, I'll get the money transferred out.

Question when you are purchasing items does the 15% factor in the shipping price as well. So if an item cost $100 and its $20 shipping do you get $15 back or $18?

Shipping and tax are NOT included in the Cash Back calculation; only the product price. This is one reason that free shipping items can sometimes be a better choice even if they cost slightly more.

Edit: Damn you sparky! Yours was 5 dollars less than mine! ;)

They gave me cashback on the full prices of combo items, as well as the full cost of a free game.

I didn't even think to try to score a cheap 4870 with it, I wonder if it's worth it to go through the hassle of ebaying the 4850 I just got and pick up one of those instead.

Of course the down side is that this was Ebay...and of course my "sealed, never opened" item was unsealed, opened and used. And evidently dropped based on the scratches on the front. So back it goes, along with my cashback, and hopefully i'm not out any fees...guy has thousands of high dollar transactions and nearly a 98% positive rating. Now I'm having to jump through the ebay and paypal hoops. I forgot for a moment why I dislike ebay so much...i put on the 25% rose colored glasses. On the other hand, I do have a flash coming from a major retailer, so that should work out...

Sigh...never as easy as you think.

I almost jumped on one of those $250 GTX260s, but then I saw that i could get an MSI with Witcher for darn near the same price at the egg...just went back to the egg, and uh...wtf? 260 prices seem to have gone UP??? And the freebee games are pretty much gone...
