Then you will see lots of lawsuit going on. And believe me, Microsoft is not that stupid to force that happen. Also, you think MS is losing money out of this? No, think again. They are saving lots of money by doing this rather than posting bunch of ads all over the web.

Anyway, about 3 weeks left for the people who jumped into the initial deal (around June 15). Many people maxed out $ 250 per transaction, which means $ 750 in the cashback account. Let's see how everything goes with them.

I'm pretty sure this is a profitable/strategic ad campaign for them, otherwise they would have cut it off by now. If I hadn't used this deal, I wouldn't have found out about MS's cashback program. I ended up using it for some parts I just bought on newegg and zzf, I got about 25 dollars back and I'm sure they get a good amount of money from the stores.

I'm debating whether or not I should buy a set of golf irons...I was going to wait until next year to buy some, but with this 25% off plus the 10% I was offered from eBay, I could get a really good deal right now.

weird; bought something the day before yesterday on new ebay account; cashback shows up in my original live account. now when I click the search link, it shows 25%, but when i click on the ebay link my ebay does not show any sort of cashback. I wonder if I messed somthing up. If I go to my main ebay account; it will show the 25% cashback icon, but I know that account is maxed out for cashback.
Oh well; just have to make a new account If I have any money left in the bank.

So, there is a seller on ebay now (Rated at 99% over 16,917 feedbacks) selling new e8500 CPU's which this deal can be used on (another seller had an external payment system and it wouldn't go, but this one did).

$190.99 "Buy it Now" + 9.99 shipping = $200.98. MS Cashback = $47.75, making this $153.23 for an e8500 shipped.

I'm stoked.

Any idea how long this will run? I'm thinking about upgrading struts in my car..would save about $100..

Thanks OP, scored on a 2 player mame controller for 75$

That big monkey wont know what hit him 😛

Back to 25% for me.

Just noticed this while searching for a lens...Text

Think they'll selling to each other just to get the discount or this might be a guy using two accounts. All the CBs are maxed...$250 each on the 3 items sold with BIN.:laugh:

How much will they actually get when all the fees are subracted to the selling price.

Just checked...all the 3 items ended with BIN after 2 or 3 minutes fm posting.🙂

Actually many members on the fs/ft forum are offering to post on ebay to take advantage of the 25% off. Nice 🙂

Hmm- did it give you the confirmation on purchasing? That could be bad.

The last item I bought was listed on eBay motors (IIRC, anyway), and I think it went through..wasn't this expensive, though.

Never showed up in my cashback account although I have emails and everything saying that I have earned the cashback from ebay. Just received email from ms cashback stating "We have collected it and it will be sent to eBay to get your purchase credited." I don't believe them since it has always showed up in ebay as earning cashback. The problem is on their end. Guess time will tell. I've also heard stories of many others that has bought stuff on ebay motors having same issues.

It explicitly states in the terms it is not applicable to purchases on ebay motors... If they give you anything it's a favor.

where? I see this on ebay motor page http://pages.motors.ebay.com/cashbackoffer/terms.html

"Cashback Rewards will apply only to the first eligible item you commit to buy on www.eBay.com during an Online Session. Cashback Rewards will not be applied to any additional items or purchases. A single listing with multiple items will be considered one item for the purposes of these terms and conditions. The following purchases on www.eBay.com are not eligible for Cashback Rewards ("Excluded eBay Purchases"):

1. purchases that are completed on www.express.ebay.com or www.half.ebay.com;
2. purchases of automobiles or other vehicles;
3. purchases of real estate;
4. purchases that are completed using a third party checkout system.

Doesn't say anything about ebay motor....

Just reporting in on a deal I got for a GTX 260 on eBay with the MS cashback. The seller is legit and I received my card today.

There's still one left;

Search eBay for "VCGGTX260XPB". There's a listing from 'TECKWAVE' store, for a PNY GTX 260 for $250.19 + $10.99 shipping...

Either the T&C changed or I'm forgetting, but when I used the deal a few weeks ago, motors.ebay.com was also listed before half.ebay.com

No, he's talking about the link in the ebay messages. It will look something like:
https: //cashbackaccount.search.live.com/cashback/welcome.aspx?upid=12345678 & Ticket=xx12xx3x-xxx4-5678-xx90-123x4xx56x78 (not a real link).

I think I'm heading into the dark side of this deal by opening a 2nd ebay account. I bought an SLR and now I want to get some canon L len$e$. I'm thinking about all the money I'm saving instead of thinking about what I'm spending. Well, it's only 2 L lenses and a non-L lens...

I knew I should of jumped on that, damnit. Thanks for following up though.

I like many others had set up multiple ebay and cashback accounts (only 2 though) and I used my other ebay account to buy 2 items and it shows in that ebay account as receiving the cashback. But the 2 items went to my first cashback account... so it now shows 4 items in it....
