DBZ, have you had a chance to play with the Storm's mp3 capabilities? If it's adequate enough I'm planning to give away my existing player jsut so I can consolidate on the number of devices I carry, lol.

It's the same as the Bold/any 4.5> device, I.E., it's very good. You have all the usual iSod type functions like album art, group by genres, artist, etc playlists yada yad, video and it will sync with iTunes, too, it juts won't play AAC, but then what does apart from iSod?

It also has fwd/rev, pause/play function with the device locked. If you hold the volume up button down it FFWDs. Hold the vol down button and it RWDs. The Mute key does play/pause.

Correction, AAC is supported, Protected AAC is not.

If I just got a Curve like... six months ago, what's the cheapest I can get a Storm for? I feel like I'm screwed. Is it even worth the upgrade?

What does having a curve have anything to do with the price of the storm? It's $250 with a $50 mail in rebate for a new contract with verizon. If you're saying because of this curve you have you're still IN a contract, then you'll be paying in the neighborhood of $500-600 for just the phone. From what I've seen it's not worth it yet. Until they update some things to make the OS smoother it's quite worth it.
