It's the same as the Bold/any 4.5> device, I.E., it's very good. You have all the usual iSod type functions like album art, group by genres, artist, etc playlists yada yad, video and it will sync with iTunes, too, it juts won't play AAC, but then what does apart from iSod?
It also has fwd/rev, pause/play function with the device locked. If you hold the volume up button down it FFWDs. Hold the vol down button and it RWDs. The Mute key does play/pause.
