Dude, check your engine. There have been cases where kittens have climbed in there because it's warm, then die when the cars being driven around.

LMAO, this reminds of what happened to my nieghbours pet cat about 6 years ago.

I came out one cold morning to go to work, climbed in to my 1976 Ford ZG Fairlane V8, turned the key on and the engine hesitated a bit on start up so i gave it a bit of a foot full when it started to crank over and then it roared to life....but I could hear this load thud, thud from the engine bay.

So I popped the bonnet and went around to open it when all of a sudden this cat...or should I say half a cat came racing out from underneath having a complete spastic attack...I looked astonished at this poor cat and then relized what had happened as I opened the bonnet and saw the rear end and back legs of the cat jammed up in the radiator/Fan shroud on my V8.

I quickly raced around back and opened the boot and got out the heavy bar/handle to my hydralic jack and went and put the front half of the cat out of it's misery with a single blow to the head.

the poor thing had went to sleep up near the warm radiator of my car and had copped a nasty surprise when I cranked the car over....damn it took weeks to get the smell of burning cat hair and blood out of my car.

My nieghbour was pretty upset but I didn't have to replace the cat as I had warned them about it sleeping on my car(it normally used to sleep in the middle of the bonnet and leave muddy little foot prints) plenty of times before

I got a call from my buddy one day that he needed my help over at his girlfriend's house because two kittens had crawled up in the engine of her RX7. Needless to say when she started the car the cats got caught in the belts. I was the only one with a strong enough stomach to put the one that was still alive out of it's misery and then peel the remains of both from the engine belts and accessories. Poor kitties but it was their own damn fault.

that's so sad, i could never do a thing like that. but i am glad you did it for the kitties sake. so sad though....

That cat would've been bound, bagged, and buried by now if that was my car.
And I would have killed the kittens with excessive masturbation.
QFT or maybe worse

Don't like VW's HUH?

Funny, I feel the same way about Fords, though I would never say that to a Ford owner since it might hurt their feelings... :p

Don't take it personally. I love old VWs. My first car was a 71 Super Beetle and I have had my hand in restoring several over the years. They are great cars and almost indestructable.

nothing wrong with VW's...as long as you are going to fit a porsche engine and drive line to it....right?

Well it does still have a VW engine in it but it's FAR from stock.

I would list everything I've done to it but it would take Way too long. Suffice to say I was working as a VW mechanic when I built it and I put the BEST of everything in it, to the tune of around 3K. :)
