After 4 days, I woke up this morning and when I got in my car Momma and her kittens were gone. :(

I'm sure I'll still see them around the "hood" when they get a bit older. :)

Now I just have to wait a few days for my car to loose that "fresh cat" scent.... :disgust:

That cat would've been bound, bagged, and buried by now if that was my car.
And I would have killed the kittens with excessive masturbation.

Wow!!! I am always amazed at people like this that are not locked up in an institution.

I was, but they kicked me out due to excessively bad behavior.

Why? The cat trespassed and thus the owner of the property can do whatever the hell he wants with it.

Dude, check your engine. There have been cases where kittens have climbed in there because it's warm, then die when the cars being driven around.

It's a air cooled VW type 3, so there are no exposed belts or pulleys or such for them to get tangled up in. :)

Try harder... I'm sure you can manage it somehow.

It was a borrowed camera, and at that point I hadn't figured it out just yet....

Wow. I guess your vehicle simply served it's usefulness for the mommy cat.

Try using lysol to get rid of the smell.

You must drive one piece of shat car. Those cats would have been gone the minute I discovered them. Good luck getting rid of the smell because it can sometimes be impossible.

LMAO, this reminds of what happened to my nieghbours pet cat about 6 years ago.

I came out one cold morning to go to work, climbed in to my 1976 Ford ZG Fairlane V8, turned the key on and the engine hesitated a bit on start up so i gave it a bit of a foot full when it started to crank over and then it roared to life....but I could hear this load thud, thud from the engine bay.

So I popped the bonnet and went around to open it when all of a sudden this cat...or should I say half a cat came racing out from underneath having a complete spastic attack...I looked astonished at this poor cat and then relized what had happened as I opened the bonnet and saw the rear end and back legs of the cat jammed up in the radiator/Fan shroud on my V8.

I quickly raced around back and opened the boot and got out the heavy bar/handle to my hydralic jack and went and put the front half of the cat out of it's misery with a single blow to the head.

the poor thing had went to sleep up near the warm radiator of my car and had copped a nasty surprise when I cranked the car over....damn it took weeks to get the smell of burning cat hair and blood out of my car.

My nieghbour was pretty upset but I didn't have to replace the cat as I had warned them about it sleeping on my car(it normally used to sleep in the middle of the bonnet and leave muddy little foot prints) plenty of times before

Oh? The neighbor didn't try to sue you for $180,000, since the cat was a special breed and would have had 90 kittens or so if it hadn't died?;)

LOL! I don't think that mongrel breed tabbies could ever be called a "special breed"

I got a call from my buddy one day that he needed my help over at his girlfriend's house because two kittens had crawled up in the engine of her RX7. Needless to say when she started the car the cats got caught in the belts. I was the only one with a strong enough stomach to put the one that was still alive out of it's misery and then peel the remains of both from the engine belts and accessories. Poor kitties but it was their own damn fault.

the one that got eaten by my V8 was a full grown tabbie...a big sucker too.

the funny thing is I had recently replace the light weight clutch based plastic fan with an older fixed steel unit from a standard Falcon V8....if the plastic one had of been fitted it would have just broken a few fins off and would have just pissed the cat off instead of cutting it in half and making on hell of a mess.

Why did you leave them in there for 4 days? Did you drive around with them in there? Were you trying to starve them to death or something?

They were being driven around yes, and fed. ;)

It's my project car. All the carpeting is out of it since I have new stuff to go in.
The windshield gasket leaks and until I can find new glass, the carpet, door panels, headliner and the rest are on hold.

The timing chain when out of my daily driver so I'm driving the VW again until the weather get's nice enough to tackle the timing chain.
