fwiw - Joe Andruzzi, actually played for New England as a starting guard for the three Super Bowl Winning Teams in 2001, 2003 and 2004. Two of his brothers were fire fighters and in the Towers on 9/11. They made it out alive saving a lot of people. And Joe right after he retired came down with cancer and almost died. He started a charity that I volunteer and support and that's how I've become friends with him and his family.

The marathon bombings occurred right in front of the Forum restaurant where he holds a marathon party for runners that run for his charity which I have run for his team in the past. After the bombings, he helped lift away the barricades and carried injured people to the hospital tents. I had just finished and was waiting right behind the Finish Line for my gf to come when the bombs went off. I spent my time running thru the carnage looking for her. Unfortunately, one of her gf's was injured.

Starting this season, Joe became one of the team's strength and conditioning coaches. What a year to get back involved with the team on a daily basis.

I wonder if emperus even knew who he was til now. I could post a pic of an old photo of Foxboro Stadium that I bought when I got my first office at work and they gave me stipend to decorate it and place a sticker with emperus on it and place it in the pic but I think I've proven my point enough. I think only Butch goes further back as a fan than I around here.

I'm sure half the country who watches football knows who Andruzzi is. He is probably more known for his brothers and 9/11 than his game play. L

Yeah, I knew the picture was from his Marathon Charity run. That's why I said it was easily identifiable as I have a friend who raised a lot of money for that Marathon run and could have probably found me more shots of it and probably have similar shots with him.

But that is a nice story there, Includes both 9/11 and the Boston Bombings, running a marathon then through Bombing Carnage to find a girlfriend whose friend was injured. I guess you can be anyone on the internets.

just read bill walshs first two books and start read the wikis about the 3-4 and 4-3 Defense. learn how a defense works and then move to the offense.

It amazes me how many football fans dont know what a 5 technique is or how to tell if someone is in man to man. Super easy.

Would be a cool thread wouldnt it?

That's the kind of Football talk I was hoping to find in this thread. Makes watching the game so much more interesting.

You really don't know when to stop. I'm pretty sure more than half the football fans here don't know who Joe Andruzzi or who his brothers are. So, I wanted to let zinfamous know that he was more than a trainer/coach. And I'm curious to know why you think I'm making stuff up? Are you jelly or just like continuing to be douche b/c we've confirmed that you're a fraud? If your friend was actually involved with JAF or friends with the Andruzzi's then he would know who I was and know my story, so I'm guessing you're making up everything about your friend b/c you wouldn't have said what you said. I could post a new article written about me but I'm sure you would consider that made-up too. Idiot

Oh, what's your friend's name? I should know him then.

Listen you just seem like the type seeking approval or who likes to show off to seek approval, like adding unnecessary information in your posts like
when I got my first office at work and they gave me stipend to decorate it
What did any of that have to do with the point you were trying to make?

As for Andruzzi and his brothers. They were profiled during the Superbowl after 9/11 in a halftime or pregame story if I'm not mistaken.

I told you the photo was easily identifiable because I assumed the pic was taken for his Marathon Fundraiser. You blacked out your face in the pic, yet I should post my friends name. Yeah, ur making sense.

I'm a fraud because? Here you go again saying things you know not to be true.

To explain why I have a framed photo of Foxboro stadium. Note, how I have a story/explanation behind what I post to add relevance where you say a lot but have nothing to back-up anything. Since, your friend should know who I am and know my story, you would think you wouldn't have to question my story or you would provide your friend's name to confirm that you're not full of shit. And the way you call it a Marathon Fundraiser, tells me you don't know what you're talking about b/c your friend wouldn't call it that either.

re: the play call, hindsight is 20 20. It was 2nd down with 0:25 and one timeout remaining, the Pats had brought in the goal line stand guys. The OC made the call.

and russel wilson threw a terrible pass, which for some odd reason, nobody wants to talk about. everyone wants to blame the coaches for this, not the pass. had he thrown that ball to his back shoulder, we'd be talking about a seahawks 2nd superbowl victory in a row.

I think the only reason it looks like a back shoulder through would have been viable was because the route was run poorly. The receiver slows down for some stupid reason. The ball would have been in the right place, had he ran the route at full speed. Butler wouldn't have been able to make a play and jump the route without going through the receiver and giving Seattle a first down at the 1 foot line. But, that didn't happen. It was a timid route and Wilson put the ball where it should have been.

All I have is an Old Spice colone dispenser from the '85 SB and an old "Pat Patriot" sweatshirt I bought back in '78. The colone dispenser is a football, it still has some in it, I'm not sure why I keep it seeing the jack-hammering the Bears put on the Pat's in that game.

Yeah, because I didn't think about it that deeply. She was running a Marathon, sent an email asking for a donation, got an email said she met her goal and I saw pictures afterward.

I don't put my personal business out there and since you say you don't either it's rather silly to ask me to but someone else personal business out there. But if you are not shy about telling you story and as you say tell it to the media. Why haven't you shared that story here with your name and picture?

I don't understand that either. People are making it seem like the play call was to throw an interception. It was a poor pass.

What's interesting is that listening to the NFL inside game day audio. He keeps telling the OC to trust him down there (I'm assuming the red zone). I find that odd that he would have to tell his OC that. But isn't trust, knowing situations. As in throwing a safe pass to not have it picked off when you are at the 1?

Thanks. That means a lot. Did you just come on here to type that. Or did you have more profound to say? You clearly clicked on this topic for a purpose? What was that, seeing you added nothing to the purpose of the topic.

Btw. Next time try to using your grown up words. Well that is assuming you're a grown up.

You knew I'd say that, yet you still couldn't find any grown up words. Yeah, you're a smart one.

Why waste grown up words on an annoying douchbag like you? You seem to behave like a5 years old, as such you should be treated. Now run along, and fix your helmet should you trip. Douchebag.

That's what being grown is. Using the vocabulary you should have learned growing up.

"Fix my helmet should you trip?" I told you acted immature and you open ur mouth and prove it. Guess you didn't have any grown up words after all. lol

You know when people start name calling it's because they really don't have an argument to stand on or aren't clever enough to think of one. And who guys online and calls people names? Does that take a lot of bravery? It's a refuge for the weak.

OP should change the title to Emperus Ownage Thread.

You mean ownd, the way the Pats owned Seattle. In fact it is similar. You can't beat my arguments, so you proceed to immature name calling. Sort of what your team did trying to start that brawl, no?
