Great game but Brady for MVP? I thought Edelman or Butler or Gronk were more deserving.

Man, Seahawks fucked up that play call at the end. You're on the 1 yard line with one of the best running backs in the league, a guy who has been picking up 5-10 yards per carry all night, and you run a pass play? WTF?

Hard to believe the Pats have been involved in 3 of the craziest SB endings ever. Still think the David Tyree "Velcro Catch" has to be #1 but I could realistically argue for that, the Manningham catch, or last 1 minute of this game.

Interesting that after the first half, Carroll said he wasn't going to make any adjustments to his defense. NE adjusted their offense thru out the game and after being burned by Matthews, NE put Browner on him and he didn't catch a ball again.

Brady carried the whole offense the entire game against the best defense in the league.

Most completions in a Super Bowl. Largest comeback (tied with two other teams) of 10 points in SB history. Largest comeback in the fourth quarter in SB history. Yes he deserved the MVP if they can't give it to Pete Carroll for that call.

Agreed

only excuse for the last play is if someone in ownership told them they couldn't run cause it would have made lynch too expensive to sign for next year.

That looks bad, but I bet it heals up just fine by next season.

My pre-game pick was Patriots 20, Seahawks 16. Not too bad, I guess...got the margin correct.

I think that Seattle's D-line got a little worn down in the 4th Qtr as most defenses tend to do which begs the question even more of why Carrol decided to try a risky pass instead of beast-mode. He will be judged harshly by that mistake and it's somewhat unfair because overall he has made Seattle a contender that plays it's guts out for him.
