Yea, I'm a lifer Pat fan and I wish he wasn't. As far as the penalties went I call it a wash, NE got away with a clear PI when the DB tripped the Seattle receiver and Seattle should have drawn the 15yrd for hitting the kicker's plant leg. Usually in SB's they do not call a lot of tic-tack PI calls and I'm fine with that and I think the majority of the fans feel the same. Your diagnosis of the NE passing attack is correct, they came into the game as the masters of the "dink and dunk" passing game and it was on display again. Really the only way the Pat's solved Bennet's pass-rush was to have TB step up past where the O-line was engaged with the D and make throws from there, it has worked well for Brady for most of the season. The fact that Seattle was able to force him into 2 really bad throws speaks volumes as to their rush, I saw no "domination" by either side, just two heavy-weights slugging it out in an epic SB that either side could have won and was entertaining as hell.

When that punt happened, I was first annoyed by it being called, because I just saw him tripping/being pushed into the kicker. Then when you see where it rolled his leg, and to the rule, it's obvious that the call was weak and improper.

No call on the falling trip against NE--only a true homer would ignore that one. Unbelievable.
