Why do you guys seem to think that Arizona was somehow shit for most of the year? It's like their 9-0 start or whatever it was meant nothing.
Also, I think none of you have ever watched St Louis play within the division. Those jerks are the master trolls of the league. They pretty much suck anywhere else these years, but play every team within the division hard as piss (and yes, you can say that about most divisional rivals in the league).
Anyway, much of this is nonsense. W-L matters more than anything once you start controlling for all of these variables. By the end of the season, what proved to be the top 2 teams in the league, anywhere, are the top 2 teams meeting for all the marbles. I don't know why anyone would complain.
Why the Pats homers want to deflate Seattle's more than adequate chances of beating them, yet again, is beyond me. But I have been lead to believe after years of living amongst unapologetic Boston-area homers that reality in the northeast exists in a very small bubble.
I think the Pats will win this, but the nonsensical mental gymnastics to suddenly claim that Seattle are unworthy opponents grossly ignores this team's accomplishments over the last 2-3 years.
Again, just ask Peyton....and all the other top QB's that have suffered at the hands of Wilson and Co.
Like that Brady guy.
I know, maybe Wilson should run out onto the field with an Eli mask!
