Be very careful I got in on this 3 weeks ago when it was 460 something and it was just shipped yesterday. I read that may were having serious issues with DHL and to my amazement today DHL lost my $500 investment!!! DHL blames Dell and Dell is blaming DHL. In the meantime I have no card and -$500 on the ole charge card! They are treating me like a redhead stepchild...Dell refuses to ship out another card and take up the battle with DHL...

I got in on it earlier this month and just recieved it yesterday. Needless to say, the opportunity to get this card for $491 shipped after tax was worth the three weeks I waited for it to get here. Goes well with the 2405 that showed up on the same day.
woot.. i didnt buy one but i bought 2 bfg 6600gt 259x2 -20% and -$60 = 355.92 with free overnight + 21 tax = 377.28
I really just wanted the dual dvi.. so sweet... I dont game that much so didn't need a 7800.. hehe... had the matrox parhelia triple but recently sold it (too slow).

The extended ship dates really deflates this deal (i.e., in early Sept. the prices of the 7800 may be significantly lower due to the expected release of R520). Only time will tell though.
This practice of delayed ship dates at Dell must be a "policy" because it seems to happen frequently. I bought a Muvo from Dell ~3 months ago and it wasn't shipped for 2-3 weeks after ordering. It wouldn't be a big deal EXCEPT when ordering products which can and often do drop in price quickly (i.e., video cards).
if something better comes along you can always cancel though
dell won't charge you anything until this has been shipped
The OPS link is to dell small biz. The only coupons i have/seen are for dell home. Am i missing something or is there a small biz $60 coupon?
Actually im going to wait several weeks and then cancel if nothing shows up. Generally when dell gives long shipping dates in my experience they are quicker than estimated. it happened several times in the past that they shipped out the product weeks before they were due so im knocking on wood hoping for the best.

I posted this in the last thread about dell's BFG 7800. I ordered mine on July 12th. Expected shipdate was 7/26. I recieved an e-mail yesterday that the shipdate was pushed out to 8/2. I do know other posters had ordered on July 9th with shipdates of July 22nd and got theirs early.
I'm just really frustrated with Dell's shipping, but am only holding on because I got it for $~460 shipped no tax. Otherwise I would have cancelled and gotten another vendor.
Basically at this point I am only waiting on my videocard to start assembling my new box. ><

omg i just called to have my order re adjusted with the 25% off coupon (thanks smoothSL )
and they gave me the 25% on top of the 20%
i told the CSR that the price i thought i was going to get was $450 but when she came back with $400.20 shipped tax free to DE

Am I missing a coupon? I got the 20% off small business which brings the card down to 533.60 from 667. But that's no where near the prices you guys are getting?
