You are simply experiencing the normal poor vertical viewing angle of TN panels.Originally posted by: Cryos
I got a L226WTQ a week ago, and unlike many in this thread, so far I haven't noticed any ghosting problems (tested with Oblivion, FEAR and GTA: SA).
But I am having some headache getting the colors right, and with the very irregular brightness across the screen (which bothers me mostly). In the top, I get dark colors and in the bottom, the very opposite. To illustrate the problem, the gray bar at the left of this site looks like a gradient from dark gray to light gray instead of a solid gray. Another way to notice the problem is to drag your unmaximized browser to the top of the screen, pay attention to the colour and then drag it to the bottom, if you have the same problem I do, you won't have any trouble spotting the difference.
So, could anybody check and see if they have this problem?? Thanks!
any good news ? I have the same ghosting issue and no chance to return my WTQ back.Originally posted by: Sp3kt3r
I wrote an email to LG support and tomorrow I'll call them.
No, it is not supported in the L226WT or L226WTQ. Also AFAIK, no 22-inch widescreen monitor currently supports this feature (xtknight can correct me on this).Originally posted by: SuinusLatinus
What I want to know is:
Has the 226WT built-in pixel mapping or not?
I have an ATI card so I can't use pixel mapping unless the LCD supports it.
Thank you.

What I think is ridiculous is that integrated Intel graphics give you all the options but if you buy even a $600 high-end ATI card you still can't center an image on the screen.
