I have too much time on my hands and am pondering (as in occasional *passing thought* pondering) taking up a second job beyond my private consulting work. There is a really really quiet Circuit City very close to my house and I was wondering if there was even a snowball's chance in hell that they'd be willing to pay me enough to make working there part time "worth my while."
I am currently employed as a systems engineer and have a CS degree if that would mean anything to them....
Firedog, in the event you haven't heard of it
Firedog Careers
Update:
Just dropped by a CC while I was out to lunch and the guy at the counter was wearing a firedog shirt. I asked him about it and he told me that he was the only guy at that location and that they were hiring because they had just let a lot of people go (a whole bunch of employees pissed off HR). He asked me to leave my name and number, so I just left my private practice business card. I think I might be getting called in for a face-to-face...
interesting....
So this raises the question again. How much should I ask for?
