This pricing situation seems to happen periodically at Best Buy B&M on the weekends that a competitor has a price that BB needs to match. Their search engine of the competition spits out a low price AFTER rebate and the BB B&M just drops the price to match the competitors after rebate price. Then on the first work day of the week ( Tuesday this Labor Day week) when real people can program the computer, it then raises the price but adds a rebate to equal the competition. Sometimes you can catch Best Buy in a double low price posted and coupon spit out as many of us did with the RIO MP3 player a year ago. (That time they dropped the price from $100 to $50 to match Circuit City, then for a while, added a $50 coupon without raising the price. So some of us got free MP3 players from Best Buy AND did price match to Circuit City that
also had the original $50 rebate so had another free player). These are never advertised and are only found by the sharp eyes of Anandtechers. Keep looking!!!:
