Has anyone who ordered a S330 on or after 4/16 received their camera? I saw one person post that they received it after ordering on 4/16, anyone else? I am totally sick of waiting for the camera and am thinking of getting the Canon A20 from K-Mart for $256. Can anyone give me a good reason to wait for the delivery of my S330 from Dell for $310 compared to the A20 for less money? I know that the S330 is smaller, but the A20 is cheaper and uses AA bateries which to me is a plus.
i ordered my 330 on 4/22 and got a confirmation from dell saying:
We estimate that your order should ship on or before: 07/18/02
by the time i get my damn camera, canon will have the next gen model out!

I think i've figured Dell out now.
Their PR department is WAY TO BIG... it is so big, it has no means to communicate with the shipping/tech department effectivly....
They do to much business and are WAY to unorganized.. it sad, they won't last long in the current condition...
While some of us may not like them, microsoft is an example of a WELL run computer company, Dell is an example of a POORLY run computer company. Both have similar quality products, but I for one would much rather deal with microsoft.

instead of A20, you can get the A40 for the same price.. and you can even get it at retail stores (NO SHIPPING NO WAITING!)
Me, im CANCELING MY S330 TOMORROW> apparently micro center has it for 325$. In-state tax on the Dell purchase brought it up to 325$, anyways. So I'll be paying the same amount but I'll get the Micro Center camara quicker.

I wonder if anyone has ordered from any of the other online stores that have this camera. Some say ships next business day. I'm giving Dell until Friday (I ordered the same day the camera went up on their site) and then I can't wait any longer. I'm giving Dell the finger and ordering from one of these perhaps less reliable (but quicker) stores.
Of course I'll cancel my Dell order and receive it the following day and get get charged. =)
