maybe i can still cancel and get them to work it for thes 200... its what i originally wanted, anyways... and its NOTICABLY smaller (from dimensions)

For those interested in the size of the S330, I have no problems putting the camera in the front pocket of my jeans. I don't know how tight some of you like to wear your jeans...

Also, I've taken a bunch of pictures with the flash in a row. Anyone else notice the camera body getting fairly warm? Is this normal?

Target B&M had the S200 in stock! Instead of making your own with the printer paper, run to local Target B&M and bring a CF card with you. I have S110 and as far as I can tell, it's the same size. My wife couldn't tell the difference right away but she did noticed the different button layout. I wish I had taken the CF card so that I could take some pictures and play with the different functionality. Nonetheless, now that I saw it, I want it! BTW, Target wants $349 for it.

Maybe the Dell CS was telling the truth! Maybe they'll ship ~5/2.

i find it amusing that everyone started using a cell phone to compare... a lot off ppl still don't got em ya know I'd figure a more "standard" measure would be a deck of cards.. as someone mentioned in the first thread.

I'm sticking w/ the s330 not being pocketable.. i don't wear super baggy clothing. Only fits in pockets if i'm wearin cargo pants or the like.

well, i do have a pack of cards here in hand and the s330 is EXACTLY the same dimensions.. except that its twice as thick

the S200 is slighter smaller, shorter, and 1.5x as thick

Sad thing is, Korrmaster, I've already made a box out of printer paper to make me feel like I have my camera already. I drew a lens on it and everything. I walked into my roommate's room and tried to take a picture of them. They just laughed because I practically hit the floor and started crying because my LCD screen was stuck!!! Pixellated as hell! And I was the one who compared the FAKE camera to my Nokia 5165........ I don't have the camera, so it's okay for me to do it, .

Someone there on Cnet made a comment on how fast it takes a picture after hitting the shutter button. That is the main reason I am upgrading to the S330 from my Nikon 775. I just hope it is true! (I'll miss my macro photos though)

guess I gotta be the devil's advocate here. since most of those people haven't had their camera for over a week, they haven't discovered whatever quirks that might appear later... i usually give positive reviews to my products out of excitement and regret it some time later

I made paper boxes in the sizes of the S330, S200 and the S30 before deciding which one I bought. It was a slow day at work.

i dunno how fast the camera fires in comparison to others.... haven't compared lately. But it's not THAT fast. There's still a lag.. i doubt it would be much better than the nikkon 775.. that's relatively new. And in low light, depending on your settings, the camera sometimes has trouble focusing and takes a while (i found this problmatic using the 3 pt AiF focusing on...).

LS20, you are absoluted right. The initial WOW factor is in effect in most of those opinions. However, from personal experience... the only thing really missing is the little quirks. And for me... the WOW factor causes me to fall in love with the item and then I end up overlooking the quirks.

The one quirk I hope that does not exist with the S330 is the delay between when you hit the shutter button and when the photo is taken. I'm going to return in ASAP if the delay is even remotely close to my Nikon 775. I love my 775 and its less than an inch macro shots, but the delay kills me when I let other people take shots. They don't wait for the shutter delay and begin moving the camera just as it takes the shot. Lame.

well... i was going to cut the camera out from a printer paper.. but as soon as i picked up the sissors, I KNEW I WAS A LOSER.. heheh Guys.. lets stop moaning and graoning.. i dont think that helps DELL to get their @SS moving on shipping... who knows, they really might be backed up by canon.. but... that is bull... more and more online venders are ready to ship on order.... max i have seen was 1-2 weeks from Amazon... which by the way, at 399, it gives you free 32 megs or CF (Viking).. I wanted to buy it... i didnt care if i saved money.... but i hit my head on the table saying NO NO NO NO STOP STOP STOP.. im going insane....

I just got another delayed email from Dell stating new estimated ship date will be 5-13. They also need by consent again to continue my order - I just gave it two weeks ago. I originally ordered on 3-28. I don't understand why target has these in stock and Dell does not.
