*update* ate another footlong sub, feel more disgusted

damn, i've been doing pretty well losing weight these past few months. up until an hour ago, i had about 450 calories in a protein shake for the day.

went to subway and ordered a footlong, intending to only eat half. but my greedy ass ate the whole thing. 🙁

-footlong veggie patty on italian herbs/cheese bread
-4 slices pepperjack cheese
-spinach, black olives, pickle tomatos, onion
-smothered in chipotle southwest sauce

since this patty is not on their menu, i am estimating the sub to be ~ 1300 calories. fvck!!!!!! i hardly eat there, why did i go? i hope my sweater still fits right when it arrives next week. 🙁

**update** 10-4

im a fvcking cow. 2nd time in a week i had subway. i NEVER do that typically once every few months.

anyway, just had a footlong tuna with spinach, olives, tomatos, pickles, onions, pepperjack cheese, and sweet onion sauce on wheat.

i am surprised at how light the wheat bread is! i believe the other breads are at least 3x heavier and thicker. i topped it off with 1 raspberry cheesecake cookie. that was amazing cookie. fvck, im going to be a fatto in no time 🙁

I typically eat the entire meatball sub from Subway in one sitting. It sits at about 1500 calories. The Chicken and Bacon ranch is about 1700.

<3 bulk diets

weak!

i eat footlong subs from subway no problem, and i take in about 1000 calories a day from protein shakes! and it ain't no weak ass veggie sub!!

Calorie counting desk jockeys are funny. Do some exercise or play some sports, worrying about 1000 calories here and there won't exist.

Hold the cheese and the sauce, it would have been healthy.

Hold the olives and I would have eaten it. (Can't stand olives.)

I usually get a footlong veggie on normal bread. Double spinach, cheese, no dressing. It's like 700 calories for the entire sandwich.

i play no sports and get close to zero cardio a week (no running, no walking).
i do, however, do free weights 3 times a week. i'm starting to think this may not be enough.

I ran into a similar situation where 3/4 of the footlong would satisfy while I would feel sick after eating the whole thing. My solution was to eat half, save the second half for the next day, and finish with a banana.

i will remember to hold the cheese and sauce if there is a next time. this is not the veggie delight, but rather the patty similar to boca burgers. not all subways carry this awesome patty

With my 40 year old metabolism, I would need to wear a size bigger pants the next day if I ate that much in one sitting.

FU belly :|

Dude, its crazy. I play soccer and hurt my knee bad last winter, but kept eating like when I was playing all the time along with whatever little lifting I could do. Frick, just piled on the pounds. Now I'm playing again, and within a month just shot back down to my old weight. And I'm 33, so its not a youthful metabolism.
Just get a 3 hour sweat on, its awesome!

good for you. clap clap clap. but with Call of Duty: MW3, Uncharted 3, BF3 right around the corner, I'll be pretty tied up and won't have any time for running.

That's not the way to do it. Your can send your body into "survival mode" where you'll be hungry and tired, but won't really burn much for calories (since you'll be inclined to sleep / sit more).

Just eat smaller, gradual meals. Use self control. And if you eat something that you feel guilty about, go for a walk or (preferably) a jog for 15-20 minutes after your stomach has settled. It may not burn everything back off, but it's a good habit to get into.

If all you ate was the shake and a footlong it wouldn't be bad for the day. I ate a 250 calorie snack in the morning and a blimpie footlong (bbq chicken & bacon), and I don't feel like I did too bad. Granted I also burned 500 calories on an elliptical.
