great response. The guy was clearly a teabagger. hahahaha. Dont go full retard xjohn.

She said her son, who had been a carpenter and a cabinetmaker before his imprisonment, was angry about his unemployment and about "what's happening to our country."

Left right whatever it's the economy that turns already marginal people to extremism/crime etc. 100% of our focus should be there. Problem with this country is we hate our citizens.

Angry Right-Winger Opens Fire on Cops because of Left-Wing Politicians

A 45-year-old parolee, described by his mother as angry at left-wing politicians, opened fire on California Highway Patrol officers on an Oakland freeway early Sunday and was hit by return fire while wearing body armor, authorities said.

Pathetic and gives some insight into the average idiot mad blaming politicians for everything when they are ultimately responsible for their lives. Maybe he should have spent more time thinking about his criminal acts instead of worrying about "what's happening to the country" which I'm sure he knows nothing about. He is the problem with the country. Just a quitter looking for a scapegoat.

Who are we missing on here?

you just invoked "I know you are but what am I" hahahahahaha.

No, I was just agreeing with you that you are a retard.

Let's recap:

You say
"this is why you guys are considered kookoo by our side."

I post a link to one of "your guys" that's a nutcase too, and you go into full retard denial. Yip, sounds about right.

I realize that two consecutive (that means one after another) post, and a four word sentence are hard to follow, but I thought you could manage.

your starting to break down. I dont understand what you just typed. If you are now frothing at the mouth you should probably stand up, stretch, have a drink of water and go outside for a small walk. ():)

So the guy was a total Nut, why blame his delusions on anyone else?

Sad to say, some human being are simply born as fraction defectives. And if our perp did not settle on Liberal politicians he would have come up with some other group to blame for all his woes.

Memo to myself, if I am going to take my hostility out on some group, don't pick on cops, taking candy from babies is far safer. Stepping on ants on the sidewalk also works, just don't step on a crack and break your mother's back.

Maybe he was going to rob a bank, any facts to back up him being any "angry right winger" out to kill liberals, or is it just partisan BS?

Uh, he passed maybe hundreds of banks on his way to SF.

The facts, which I posted and you ignored, I'll post again.

Williams watched the news on television and was upset by "the way Congress was railroading through all these left-wing agenda items," his mother said.
...
Janice Williams said she kept the guns because "eventually, I think we're going to be caught up in a revolution." But she said she had told her son many times that "he didn't have to be on the front lines."

By his own mother's admission, he is an angry right winger who has had numerous conversations with his "going to be caught up in a revolution" mommy in which she repeatedly tried to dissuade him from taking violent action, telling him "many times that 'he didn't have to be on the front lines.' "

Looks like she failed.

But, yeah, ignore all those facts right in your face, why don't you?

I've updated the thread title to weaken the causal relationship although I think Perknose did a pretty good job of summing up the obvious evidence that this was politically motivated.

But isn't that what you leftists preach? No personal responsibility - the gov't will take care of you...

Anyway, sucks that a cop got shot. Guy goes to work and has to deal with a nut who's last straw broke.

There are also left-leaning whiners who refuse to take responsibility too. No doubt. It does suck a cop got shot. They should be commended for stopping what could have been an even bigger tragedy.

What facts? That he watched TV and hated liberals? While I realize that it appears to be a fact he watched TV, and hated liberals, that doesn't make it a fact he was going off on a killing spree because of it. I watch TV and hate liberals, but when I load up guns in my car I am usually headed to a gun show, or the range. Hey, maybe the parole was headed to the range, and the cops tried to pull him over, thinking he was going back to jail for violating his parole by having a bunch of guns, he went out with a bang instead of going back to jail?

You HATE all liberals? Ok, chief, whatever. Just stop ignoring the facts here.

Do you put on a bullet proof vest before you leave the house?

Do you take ALL your guns and an incendiary device with you . . . to the gun range?

Do you steal the guns you take to the range from your Mom's locked gun safe?

Has you mother repeatedly had to agrue with you that you don't have to "be on the front lines"?

Give it up. Keep living in your fetid little pool of denial and openly admitted liberal hate, but the facts are screaming at you here.

The article says he's a carpenter and a cabinetmaker. I think that pretty much guarantees he is/was a union member? Why does it seem like unions crank out these violent people? If they aren't attacking businessmen they're shooting police. Time to shut down the unions I think.

Uh, he passed maybe hundreds of banks on his way to SF.

Being in California, I'd presume he also passed a metric shit-ton of liberal establishments. Interesting. Based on your "evidence," and mine, I guess he was just out for a Sunday drive.

The truth is that nobody here knows what motivated this guy, no matter what you ASSume.

You haven't proven he was going on a killing spree to kill liberals because he was watching TV, and hated liberals, not by a long shot. And yes, sometimes I do take all my guns, depends on where I am going shooting, and if I was going out to the middle of nowhere to shoot, I might just take an incendiary device if I had one. On the note of incendiary device, what incendiary device did he have?

At one point, police brought in a bomb squad to detonate some items that turned out not to be explosives.
Maybe the fact that he was an out of work ex-con that couldn't get a job is the reason he snapped, and it didn't have anything what so ever to do with his politics, but nooooo, you couldn't run with that could you? It just doesn't have that same partisan hack flavor.
