But these are obviously super fake. Already been more concrete leaks about SR3 SR5 SR7 branding. Clockspeeds are counter to other recent leaks as well. Raven Ridge would not be priced this early as its a 3Q 2017 at the earliest.

AMD plans a limited launch with likey 1 SKU in Q1 2017. In Q4 2016 a leaked slide comes along detailing launch prices for the entire SKU line-up plus additional APUs based on same arch but planned for H2 2017 at best. So we are to believe AMD gives us pricing before launch schedule.

I think the SRx branding is real and the XP is fake. AMD MUST hit at least ~3.2Ghz base and ~3.6Ghz ST Turbo clocks if they want to be semi-competitive against Broadwell-E parts. They likely won't match top 8 core part but could land close, especially if the unlocked top 8C/16T part can clock to 4-4.2Ghz on good cooling.

I don't really like the "SRx" branding. It sounds like "SteamRoller", which brings up memories of BullDozer. Which is a load of fail.

I think AMD should continue to use their "R" branding, R3/R5/R7/etc. that have been associated with their successful GPUs. (And SSDs)

So, I could see an "XP R3-whatever" / "XP R5" / "XP R7". Thus a merging of their "XP" branding that was used during one of their successful heydeys of CPUs, along with their current "Rx" branding used with their successful GPUs. Sort of a win-win if you ask me.

a CCX is 4 cores, there are 2 ccx's in a zeppelin. There are 4 Zeppelins in a Naples (32core 64 threads). so far Naples seems to max out at 2 sockets ( 64 core 128 threads),

Is each CCX a single die or are they all on the same die like Jaguar's modules were?

The Raven Ridge parts don't pass the smell test for me. Bristol Ridge today can do 512 cores and 1108 Mhz. It was rumored to be 704 cores.

Edit: Unless those APUs are rebranded Bristol Ridge. It'd be pretty stupid but I guess?

Here's an idea. About a quarter from XP release they release AP. Full performance iGPU comes 6 months later. The reason? They need a better CPU throughout their lines, so it's rushed out without the full graphics.

Must don't mean they can. Projects mess up, fall short of expectations. These things are very difficult to make. Controlled leaks are also possible until launch to keep certain secrets hidden.

Yes, those are all K models, but there are no NON K models. (locked and unlocked versions). But those slides are showing Unlocked K models, AND locked normal models. That's what I meant. At least I can't find any. Either way, it's pretty obvious they did, LOL. Sorry if the wording was wrong. I am just a few weeks out of surgery.

And how about if all those chips are SR, but the one who are supposed to be APUs are in fact iGPUless chips, only destined for OEMs that has the GPU incorporated on the board? Just like the Intel board with a GTX 1070 GPU on the board.

The pricing looks a bit low, but that would depend on the performance.

Maybe they are looking to the glory days of AthlonXP, but that was so long ago and such boring branding, not even the enthusiast will probably find anything fond to resonate about it, esp with the tight Windows XP connection. I mean these aren't classic cars, tech people like the next thing. They should just do a Dodge with the Hellcat codename of the engine and just brand it AMD Zen.
