Not surprising that they are calling it "AMD XP." Last new arch reused the Athlon FX branding, this one now recycles Athlon XP:)

Will be interesting to see if this is legit or fakes, but they at least pass the sanity test.

So, 4c and below gets you a Zen APU, 6c and above gets you Summit Ridge. No 4C SR (well, that would be a 50% defective chip). Interesting. Well, it's all AM4, they can get SR out while having BR fill the APU slot until the Zen APU is ready (or was there one to launch in tandem with SR?)

Could you please link to the thread at HF? Can't seem to find it.

The Raven Ridge parts don't pass the smell test for me. Bristol Ridge today can do 512 cores and 1108 Mhz. It was rumored to be 704 cores.

Edit: Unless those APUs are rebranded Bristol Ridge. It'd be pretty stupid but I guess?

Not rebranded Bristol since some SKUs have SMT

Probally fake then.

Who knows, but the marketing names seem SO AMD-like. Also, AMD could very well be disabling CUs for yield/power reasons on socketed desktop chips, especially since fast gfx isn't exactly a selling point for people who will be buying into AM4.

Just based on the Raven SKUs I'd say it fake. For certain reasons it is too early for Raven and the available configurations mismatch with the actual hardware anyway. The slide ("Beyond Expectations") however might be a real deal.

Interesting.

The US is a big market where using 13 to name a product wont happen, heck, there s often no 13th official floors, so i doubt that any marketing team could be unaware of such a superstitious habit that has forcibly an influence in sales....

Hmm, I'd say fake. I doubt AMD would copy Intel branding the unlocked cpus with a K. Just like my 4790K, and a regular 4790.

They already did that - I have A10-7850K :D
I would also say this looks fake, and still hope for unlocked CPU with same perforormance and clocks like i7-4790, only for less than 200$

I guess the guy who made up this slide didn't know there's already an known ES clock at 3.2/3.5Ghz few days ago. Oh, and this slide was made at November 11.

So 3.2Ghz based sell for >400$ is around my expectation.

2003 just called.

Sorry, but anytime there's an XP, Windows XP ALWAYS comes to mind. Then again, that was the era when AMD was legitimately the top cat.

XP 813 might be the CPU the FX-8150 was not. A worthy i7 alternative if it benches well.

Where are the quad core Zen CPUs without the iGPU? I thought Zen was a four core die and the 8 core CPU uses two dies.

a CCX is 4 cores, there are 2 ccx's in a zeppelin. There are 4 Zeppelins in a Naples (32core 64 threads). so far Naples seems to max out at 2 sockets ( 64 core 128 threads),

So these are from a poster who said "Long story short: work as a pleb for MB OEM, someone left these in an unsecured folder.". Not from an actual news source.

But these are obviously super fake. Already been more concrete leaks about SR3 SR5 SR7 branding. Clockspeeds are counter to other recent leaks as well. Raven Ridge would not be priced this early as its a 3Q 2017 at the earliest.

If those specs are legit = IPC more than 40%
If IPC is 40% = Those specs are fake
