I feel your pain. NW 'burbs of Chicago here and we are expected to get 8-12".
Of course my company won't close tomorrow even though the national weather service issued the following lovely statement for my area:
A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW...
SLEET...AND ICE ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.

Impossible......that's unpossible.

i am on the southern edge of the storm track, so my house should get from zero to three inches

but it is too early to know for sure, i live in just the right spot that the northern storms tend to track north of us and the southern storms often stay just to the south of us

The report says "THUNDERSNOW". Thundersnow would so be my American Gladiator name. I've never experienced thundersnow... this may be a first!

10 inches forecast for the downtown Chicago alone...

This thing is going to annihilate the expressways again.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I couldn't handle that. Although I do admit this "thundershow" thing has me intrigued. But I'll take our 77 today in Raleigh, NC. 79 for a high tomorrow with thunderstorms.

Ok, I live in Vermont and have no fucking idea what thundersnow is. Is that like during those insanely rare instances when you get a thunderstorm that snows instead of raining? (I think I've seen that maybe once in my life)
