Unused Computer Stuff (aka: Wasted Money)

What kind of PC hw/sw have you bought, but "never got around to using/installing/playing it?"

Here's my shameful list (Sorry--Not for sale):
-80GB HD
-Photo inkjet printer
-TV Tuner card
-Thrustmaster Steering Wheel/Pedals
-MS Money
-Earth 2150 Moon Project game
-Jagged Alliance 2 game (yep--still sitting on my shelves )

I stopped buying games because I knew I'd only have time to play my faves (UT, CoD, Civ3).

I only buy hardware i know im going to use.

HD space is always needed.

I have bought some games that i didnt finish or they were to buggy to be enjoyable.

Wacom drawing pad. Gives me a headache and my hands ache. I am just not accustomed to looking at the screen and drawing. But weird thing is, I feel just fine with a mouse.

I use everything I get, no matter how antiquated it happens to be. The only item that I paid money for that is collecting dust is a Macintosh Performa 630CD (Only the CPU is collecting dust, the keyboard, mouse and monitor are on active duty, I've pulled out the harddrive and RAM, which are also on active duty) - and that's an OLDASS system. 25MHz 68020 if I recall properly.

Probably the sound card I have in my gaming system. I use the onboard sound instead.

I have a collection of aging hardware that has is either broken or not useful any more. (50 meg drive, that sort of stuff.)

I also have software that was too much for my earlier systems but now useless/unplayable on my newer, better system.

Well--The stuff I listed is actually brand new and never used If you include used/old hw, I've got even more!

I'm not selling them because I know that SOMEDAY, I'll get around to installing them. Someday . . . right after I finish the list of things my wife has for me to do.

So much to detail but I've got a PS2 I've probably used 2 times in 2 years plus a bunch of games I haven't even opened like Tony Hawk 3, Tekken 4.

You in the middle of a move or something? That's an eclectic group of items.

Good luck, I'd at least test some of it...so much DOA stuff has been sold lately.

I just bought a Global Win all-copper "quiet" HSF that's both louder and hotter running than the P4 retail box HSF. That was a waste.

Have a 160gig HDD sitting on top of my PC for nearly a month now. Work on PCs all day and just have issues motivating myself to install it when I get home at night.
