Did you do a complete restore before re-jailbreaking?
Err, kinda. Was on 4.x.x (the last untethered jailbreak version) and kicked up to iOS5.1...which meant a format/restore operation, then JBed.
Did you do a complete restore before re-jailbreaking?
i can guarantee it works on the ipad 1
what i did was the same as the rest here
updated to stock iOS 5.0.1
jailbreak using redsnow b3 release
added repo.insanelyi.com
downloaded sbsettings
respring
download ibooks, do not open the app
respring
download ibooksfix2
respring
tadahhh, fully working ibooks with full screen and themes
Once you do a restore in itunes, there is absolutely no evidence of a jailbreak, so your warranty will be intact.
All I want is for my stupid apps not to crash like it was windows 98 reincarnate. I dont jailbreak because I think it will just lead to more instability.
Generally not. Only the very first baseband can be unlocked. The rest cannot.i have a question...my friend did this jail break on a ATT iphone4...does this also unlock the network? (he wants to use it in india)
Generally not. Only the very first baseband can be unlocked. The rest cannot.
Actually: Question - I've noticed that scrolling around on the homescreen stutters on iOS5 right now. I can't be bothered to remove the JB to see if that is the cause - does iOS5 stutter for people on the iphone 4 (not the 4S) on the homescreen when panning between panes? (For example, go all the way to the right. hit back once so you go back to the leftmost pane of icons. Does this look jerky?
Thanks!
My iPad 1 sometimes stutters in the menu if there's background activity going on (syncing books, installing apps, etc.) Other than that, it's perfectly smooth.
Did you try restarting the device?
