ok before anyone start bashing me, yes I know what your thinking. Why the heck did this guy make a topic on such an old game engine lol. I was never good at this kind of stuff so I need all the gurus and techs to tell me what UE2 introduced that made it so unique from other game engines. Like what kind of unified shader it used, pixel/vertex shaders etc? thx for any input anyone can give. thx for all the inputs!

Shizzle. I hoped for the longest time that many companies would licence it for their games. I'd much prefer it if they focused on gameplay instead of graphics. Was thinking KOTOR 3 could have used it. But it looks like Lucasarts is more concerned with sales than anything else, and that means pretty colors over a good game.
