unmotivated...

hey guys, I'm trying to get myself back into the gym, but just don't have the motivation to do so. what are some tips that you guys can offer? also what playlists/music are you guys listening to?

if you can't get motivated by yourself try to find a partner to go with.

i personally enjoy going by myself because i get stuff done quicker than when i lift with a partner.

i listen to continuous house/trance mixes while lifting.

Think of the hottest girl that you think you stand a chance at getting together with and remember it.

What are your goals? Why do you want to go to the gym? When I set goals I don't ever really have a problem with motivation since I enjoy working out. If you haven't set goals you're going to have trouble self-motivating. I think of where I am now and how badly I want to get to my goal.

I don't listen to music when I lift, but when do cardio I listen to trance, rock, or metal/metalcore. Anything fast. Lately it's been Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, All that Remains, and As I Lay Dying. I guess I just can't get my Zune to go past the "A's" or something...

As stated above, listen to fast rock music. Try and find a gym where there are some decent girls to look at (helps you want to keep lifting more). Another thing you may want to try is watching 300 prior to going... pisses me off every time!

Oh and you should set goals and get a routine going. Yes i am hypocritical in the fact that I don't do it myself, but i really should..

Well if you are wanting to lose some weight here is some motivation:

Dr. Mehmet Oz, made famous for his regular appearances on Oprah and known particularly for putting poop on the forefront of Americans minds, says that for every 15 pounds of fat lost a man can expect to perceive increases of more than an inch in penis length.

ok. tomorrow will be d-day. wish me luck, now how long do u guys usually spend at the gym? do you guys do treadmill or some other cardio on every gym visit?

Wha? HTF does that work? I know that getting into good cardiovascular shape can help, but theoretically one could lose weight through dieting, and not really improve much from a cardio standpoint. How does losing fat directly translate into penis length?

Edit: NVM. Found this, and it makes sense. Interesting:
