Uninstalled Firefox. It sucks.

Haven't had any issues here. The constant updates are kind of annoying. But that's the price for innovation sometimes.

It amazes me how people always bring up the standard issue whenever there is a discussion on this topic. Don't you people get it? The users who are complaining about Firefox don't really give a flying fvck about standards. It is the fact that FF cannot display those pages correctly that annoys those users, whose favorite websites happen to be non-compliant with some "standards."
I'm not gonna argue about which one is better, since the answer is purely subjective. I tried Mozilla for a month, Firebird for two weeks, did not like them at all. IE is still working perfectly fine for me.

=D. alot better than the "flush cache to get rid of the *BMP" bug.

Is there a way to update Firefox with nightly builds without having to install the entire mozilla suite?

eh? mozilla suite is everything combined. Firefox is just the standalone browser.

i just unzip the nightly and tell it to use my existing profile and it's good to go.

I don't want the entire suite, but I want just the browser. Are you saying that installing a nightly will not install the rest of the suite?

If by everything, you count out my website, which I basically got frustrated with, trying to get everything working in IE.

I don't remember the last time I used a site where lack of alpha transparency support prevented the site from working...

I just started using Firefox and so far I like it. Originally I was an avid Netscape user, then I switched to IE. I also liked MYIE2 for IE, however, lately I find this to be very buggy. Freezes up my system a lot. Regarding Firefox, anyone know how to combine the toolbars into one line? I can't seem to figure this one out. Thanks.

my only problem w/ it is inconsistent font sizes when running it on linux fedora. its fine under XP, but when i enter some forums, the text shrinks to the smallest size. sure, its not a big deal to ctrl and + it a couple times, but it becomes a pain when I open up another webpage to have the font size too large. anyone know how to fix this? # Save on Dining, Travel, Attractions and more
# Up to $10,000 savings for the cost of a $25-$45 book.

No images on edmunds load for me. Anywhere.

A few websites are inexplicably like this, I just can't think of any other examples right now.
