I broke a 5000 Score in Valley Bench - Not too shabby for a 1st session 2 Reference 290X's under water.

2 OEM R9 290X's in CF under water in using TRIXX in synchronized cards in Multi-GPU config set 1130 x 1500 x 143 x 50 MAX Temps where VRM 40C and GPU 46C. XSPC Blocks through a Coolgate 280x60x140 Rad with 4 Noctuias in push/pull and an RP 401X's2 with 2 PMW400 pumps in series. The i7 2700K has a Corsair H110.

Might do a little better if I tweak the cards separately.

One Card is a Ref Gigabyte and the other a reference Sapphire with XSPC blocks - i7 2700K on an Asus P8Z68Pro-V Gen3. Fractal Midi ARC R2 Box and an XFX 1050W Black Edition BEFX KM3 PSU. 16GB of Samsung Green running at 1866 Mhz 9-9-9-24 1T 1.35v.

Love that Fractal ARC Midi R2 case but man she's getting heavy.

Believe I scored around 2970 for one card and 4600 in CF under air and approx 3500 for one card under water.
AMD Catalyst™ 14.6-rc2
Appears to me Hawaii is a dependable Scaler'. Usded that latest AMD Catalyst™ 14.6-rc2 Driver and SpeedFan is a Piece of Driver Crap that can actually ah heck your Video Card and MainBoard Bios's in Endless Crashes.

Hey guys, is it normal for Valley to run better on Nvidia cards? because I see 780 getting 70+ fps scoring 3000+

While my R9 290 Vapor X OC, pretty heavily overclocked doesn't even come close to the GTX scores.

R9 290 Tri-X @ 1180/1600 it overclocks quite nicely, this Tri-x card also seems to be getting a higher score than other Tri-X and Vapor X models posted on this forum (Vapor X a lot more expensive) If anyone has a higher score with a 290 I'd like to see. I know Nvidia cards get better results in Unigine benchmarks but then AMD gets better scores on 3D Mark Firestrike and I like that the 290 has 4GB of VRAM over the 780 with 3GB oh and much cheaper I got mine for $350 new where a 780 is $500+. I might get a GTX 880 though when it release later this year but right now im happy with a 290.

Check mine a couple of pages back, Tri-X R9 290 also.

According to the results link SimianR with a score of 2973 (1225/1625) is the best R9 290 so far.

FX8350, Sabertooth 990FX, HIS reference 7970's in CF, all stock other than I think I left the CPU at 4.1 base.

This should make second highest single GPU. That 780 of grooveriding has to be underwater.

780Ti classified stock air cooler
1306.5mhz 1900.8 memory GPU temp hits 83C no throttling or boost
NVVDD 1.318
FBVDD 1.61
PEXVDD 1.14
PWM 400 khz
power target 150% consumed 67% 58 amps
temp target 90

4770K @4.4 ghz

r295x2 1140 gpu 1500 memory. Never topped 60C

Went to Microcenter today and they had a Gigabyte 295x2 open box marked 1149$. I mentioned to the sales guy that they have been marked down to 999$. He talks to someone and comes back and says we will mark it down to $850. So I bit on it knowing I have 30 days to return. Literary installed it in the last 30 minutes. The radiator is sitting on the floor (should be above the GPU). Made one run at stock and pulled 4800 ish. Then bumped the power target and memory speed. Sure it will do better but a nice score for 30 min effort.

Finally got around to updating this. If you don't see your score posted, it means you didn't follow the instructions.

Above was my 1150 / 1410MHz 7970 there with PhII @ 4.03GHz and who knows what drivers I was using.

Now 1125 / 1450 7970 with FX 9370 @ 210x24.5 (5145MHz) with 14.7 beta drivers.

Kapstaad: To be expected for scaling of the AMD Hawaii.

Your score of 6011 for 4 X's 290X's in X-Fire compared to my POSTED 3000+ with a single 290X and 5000+ with 2 x's 290's in X-Fire.

Apparently AMD Hawaii scales as expected.

1240 x 1500 MHz's with 4 Cards - GOOD JOB .

You must have some serious cooling going on there - Elpida VRam I presume ;o )
