Or maybe they engage in something called "courtesy", where they politely inform someone they are not eligible. You've scraped to the bottom of the barrel and started drilling. (Maybe that's what they mean by "Drill, baby, drill".)

Epic FAIL Cad, even by your subterranean standards.
 Nowhere did I suggest this was something huge, but it is still yet another example of the liberal pattern of "one world" thinking.

And no, it was not a "polite" or "courteous" phrasing. There are many other ways to be polite without saying "unfortunately". Talk about grasping at straws to play apologist...
Not polite or courteous? ROFLMAO! Never, ever, ever ... about anything.

Oh well, I guess I should have used simple concepts you can relate to, like this:

Myspace<<<

Facebook>>>

I took a dump about 6:30, guess I should start a P&N thread on that since it has just about the same relativety as a news story here.
It certainly applies here far more than the thread I copied it from.

Epic. FAIL.

I get it CAD, they are silently saying that soon, even if illegal, (If Obama wins) you will be able to vote.

I'm not a fan of Obama or McCain but I think this is a big stretch. Is there a question about age on the survey? I bet if you say you won't be 18, it says, "Unfortunately, you have to be 18 to vote." Are we going to cry about that too? "Obama is being too nice to toddlers!!! He wants them to vote!!! Go McCain."

There are plenty of things to dislike about Obama, but this isn't one of them.

Well, Senator Obama and your election this year is generating a lot of interest from the rest of the world. Heck, I'm Canadian and with a federal election of our own coming up shortly, even I'm paying more attention to the U.S.

Thus it stands to reason that Senator Obama has a lot of supporters who are ineligible to vote but keep up with what's happening with him all the same. A polite reminder to those people to not do X, Y and Z (vote, donate, and pray to his secret Muslim god) that he wants actual American citizens to do seems like a natural thing to put up. You're really making this into something it's not.

What the site really said: "Unfortunately, only US citizens are eligible to register to vote."

What CAD read: "Registro votar para Obama aquí, camaradas."

What a jackassy thread. Give me a friggin' break.

When I was in the Air Force, I did a lot of law-school interviews of people interested in joining the JAG Corps. This was in Seattle, and so many of them were foreign citizens. I frequently had to explain to them that, unfortunately, non-citizens can't become commissioned officers. What should I have said, CAD?

forgive people for trying to be courteous.

"Its all about me" right CsG? courtesy and decency be damned.

I already covered that. You should try reading...as a courtesy... ;)

Yeah I read your posts.

But it's friday, I just felt like piling on with the others :D

I had to read the OP's post three times before figuring out that he interprets this as something the obama campaign doesn't agree with, that they'd prefer to allow non-citizens to vote.

This is a stretch, a reach not even the worse "journalists" on FOX would bother with.

 Her's is one of the MANY sites I visit daily. There is not "bot"ness involved.

As for those that can't read(or just can't comprehend) - I did not make a BIG deal about this. I stated it was yet another example of the liberal one world BS. Will BHO or democrats/liberals admit it - no but it has been building one small piece at a time. So save your trolling and whining - I made no over-reach at all. A simple "sorry" would have been better and just as polite but they chose "unfortunately". IMO, FORTUNATELY non-citizens can not register(or atleast aren't supposed to). There is no "unfortunately" about it.

Oh STFU. You'd have harped on him if it said "sorry" too.

"OMG, Obama thinks we should apologize to foreigners for not be able to vote!!"

Idiot.

No, I wouldn't have even pointed it out because "sorry" is a lot different than "unfortunately". Unfortunately gives the impression that you'd like to but can't. Sorry can mean that but also just be a polite rebuff.

The only Idiots here are the people twisting what I said or trying to claim I meant more than I stated. F'n blind hack.

Quoted for hilarious idiocy.

Tell ya what, CAD, you can call me a hack again when I post something as completely weak, worthless, and partisan as what you posted here.

BTW, where does McCain stand on immigration again? ;)

He stands too close to the open borders crowd. That is one of the reasons he doesn't get my support. :)

It's nice you see you continue with the same BS though, you are turning into a good little BHO apologist. :)

Oh my god (expression, not Judeo/Christian) you fucking language nazi. Give it a fucking break, man! Using the word unfortunately isn't a big deal. It is unfortunate for the person trying to register to vote that they can't when they want to. It doesn't mean anything. This is somehow actually more assinine than when the McCain campaign harped on Obama using the word lipstick. Do conservatives have some seriously fucked up brain chemistry or something? I don't even begin to understand where such complete retardation comes from. I would think you'd have to be one seriously stupid twit to come up with something like this being an issue enough to post. I think I might have to lie down for a minute, I think I may have lost IQ points being on the same internet as you.
