Thank you for the replies! :)

I like your input. I don't know why I am mad....I guess my goal was to have 100 percent POSITIVE feedback and I ultimately failed at that. I guess you cannot please everyone.....

I am angry at the feedback he has left me though....

1) Faulty product - I say HELL no!!!

If it was faulty I would gladly take it back, and refund him. He insist on keeping the product. Who in their right mind would like to keep a faulty product.

2) Unstable upgrades - my @ss!

In the end, I can clearly see it was my fault for making the promise...one I should have never made. But I tried my best to correct it.....and I ended up failing. Oh well....live and learn ;)

No, I am over that now. It is just he WONT LEAVE ME ALONE!

Here is how I responded:

1) THE AUCTION DID NOT COME WITH A BATTERY and it NEVER will!
2) I gave you the battery for FREE since you picked the item up!
3) You said the battery was not working so I refunded you the $20
dollars for the battery
4) I have done everything on my part and I suggest you leave me alone

Please stop being so hard headed and just leave this alone! You have
already ruined my feedback reputation with the lies you put in the neg.
comment you left me. Why are you still doing this? Don't you have
anything better to do? You are trying to "steal" from me and file FALSE
claims that have no value. I suggest you leave me alone before I do
something about it (referring to ebay) ! Please think and be smart about this. Your spring should
already be at whatever address paypal left me.

And now he says he is going to file a report with both ebay and the police...go figure.

You deserved the negative regardless of how many times you offered a refund. Christmas sales operate under a different set of rules. He needed to have that present under the tree. You said you could do it, and then you tried to back out after it was too late for him to get it from anyone else. Worse still, little Timmy's present didn't work after he unwrapped it, and because of that Mrs. Ebay-buyer didn't put out on Christmas night. Way to go, pal!

that guy is a tool. Augh, I hate hard headed people like that who take everything to the extreme. He never showed any friendliness in all of this...he's always like "ok thanks for the reply, yada yada yada, but I'M GOING TO FILE ALL THESE REPORTS IF YOU DON'T EMAIL ME BACK IN 20 MIN!!!11!!"

I believe that you did everything you could to make it work and in the end, it just didn't happen, NOT YOUR FAULT. I feel like punching the guy in the face. Of course I wouldn't do it in real life haha.

Wow, I just realized my M4A1 purchased a couple years ago aren't even worth half as much anymore.
What gives.

Finally, someone who shares my views :)

But really, if I just ignore him....is there anything that he can do? File a police report? Do something with ebay? Anything else to harm me? I mean I really do not like dealing with this guy as he is so hard to please. It makes me angry just emailing him. I am through with the transaction and have been through with it for a while now. I think I will just paypal him a couple bux to STFU!!!! ;)

Hehe.... some more comments by him-

"You ignorant fool...on 12/26/2004 12:03:30 PM ESTime you stated in
an email that you would send a new battery! This is something you
promised!"

That is funny because I have the paypal transactio to prove I sent him a refund for the FREE battery I gave him.

I then offer him 10 dollars paypal just to stfu but:

"Due to the upgrade, a $20.00 battery would be a waste, therefore, I'll
have to spend $39.99 for an adequate battery. Plus consider the past
rental costs of $5.00 each week for four-to-six weeks (min. $20.00). Then
there was the cost of the repair to the gun's plastic stock and
replacement hardware of $15.99. A grand total of nearly $76.00; hhmmm???
I'd say that $25 is quite fair."

This is funny because some how it was my fault that he had to rent a battery. Repair the gun.... a gun his son broke. Give me a break...why should I pay for that as well. I just want to be sure that there are no drawbacks of not talking to this guy anymore

I think the original negative was deserved (I posted that long ago). But to continue to push the issue after you already refunded him the battery (and to threaten court over $20) is stupid. I agree with the others, simply tell him you are done and he is free to seek whatever remedy he would like.

Complain to eBay...they always favor the seller (cuz you're where they make their revenue from)
