Kinda OT, so I expect to get flamed. But I was in motorist heaven last week because I filled my tank up for $1.01 a gallon. And today I'm driving around and I see it for $.88 a gallon (Regular branded is a bit more at $.91). Not bad for the area I'm in (Northern VA). A year ago it was like $1.50. Wow, wish I could stock up somehow.:)

Which area of Northern VA? I live in Annandale and filled up on Thanksgiving at Hess for $1.13 a gallon. Where is the $0.88?

.96 at Speedway in the Cleveland metro...and going down from what I read at CNN.

God bless Russia for telling OPEC to f**k off...if Russia and Europe don't cut production, OPEC can't inflate prices. Perhaps some of the OPEC countries should spend a little more time rounding up terrorists so they wouldn't be in this little pickle.

You've got to head down to Prince William county. A Sheetz station in Woodbridge was .91 a gallon when I was there a week ago.

Jeez! We're still getting boinked in CA! Cheapest I've bought in the Bayarea is 1.37 and most big name stations (Chevron, Shell, Union 76 are still 1.50-1.60, some still at 1.75).

its nice to walk by the gas station everyday (right next to my school) and see that the price drops nearly 2 cents a day. I remember back during the heat of summer, prices were at least 1.93. Now its only 1.05!!! yay! a hot deal indeed!

Wow, I think I'll drive 1000 miles to VA to jump on this deal!

Anyone else tired of the gas posts? I mean, c'mon, even if you're in the area, it's only going to save you a couple bucks (unless you drive a SUV). ;)

If you live in dallas (or just texas?) Tom thumb groceries takes off 15 cents from their regular prices with their customer tracking(reward) card.

89 cents/gal yesterday!
