<< I got mine for $1.05 last week in LA. I know its a bit higher than what you guys got but mine came with a free squeegee. It looked used, but free is free... >>

LOL!

I drive a 2500 Dodge with a v-10, and average about 5-6 miles a gal. 10 cents is a huge deal to me when you go and fill up with 75 gallons 🙂 Durring the summer here in chicago I was paying $2.30 or more for regular gas. If you think you had it bad, look at me 🙂 I am so happy that gas is down to $1.20 or so here. I wish I could pre-buy gas, then get it during the summer months when it goes back up.

Yes, that is my daily driver, and no, that is empty. Mostly non-highway use. when I went to the Wis. dells, I got 8 MPG on the expresway doing about 90. At 60 I get around 9-10. I would not change my vehicle for the world. There is just something about a supercharged V-10. The next cheepest car that I know of with one is a Viper at about 60k. ( stripped down )

Ok, cheepest gas around here is on 20 and Randal, runs about $1.10 for Reg.

<< Can't wait to file my AmEx Blue rebate request, pricematching from $1.72/gal to $0.66/gal! >>

LOL! I wonder if that would really work? 60 days ago there was about a $0.50 difference per gallon...

This is kind of a brag & moan thread, but since I read some v. topical to this in today's St. Louis Post-Dispatch, I can't resist. the article was about the price of gas in the Missouri bootheel (New Madrid, Cvape Girardeau), and speculating that it might be the lowest in the nation. The price? .789, I recall. Can anyone beat that? (not me, it's a bout a quarter more up here in the big city).

BASTARDS!

Gas has only dropped $.10 per gallon here.

That makes it $2.15 per gallon (for the cheap stuff)

Isn't paradise great :frown:

You know, the reason for the drop in gas prices lately is because russia opened up their pipeline. It produces as much oil as saudi arabia.

I can get gas a a kroger gas station in suwanee ga for 76cents with a kroger plus! card🙂

depends on who you ask 😉

i dont consider woodbridge part of norther va....im from the kingstowne area (near sprinfield), im down here in georgia visiting family for thanksgiving and gas prices here are around 80 cents for regular...kinda crazy...still gas is going to cost me alot no matter what, i drive a prelude and if i put anything other than premium my car wont start half the time.

Down in South East Texas, we got about 1/3 of the nations refining capacity so gas is always cheap here. Currently I 've seen it as cheap as $0.83/gal at a Kroger Grocery Store Gas station; RACETRACK is cheap as well.

But, unlike others here this sucks for me; I'm in the Oil & Gas Industry I want gas prices a little higher and a lot more stable, we lose money refining gas for this price.... remember all you BIG Oil haters the Fed and State goverment tax the crap out of the gas you get at the pump. Oil Refining Companys make razor thin profits in a normal environment and even during the last gas price spike when we did make some outrageous profits for 6 consecutive quarters it did not offset the previous 8 quarters when lost our azz. Cheap gas is good for all concerned; ridiculously cheap gas means companies will go out of business and/or reduce refining production. That's why we have a +30% decrease in our nations combined refining capacity over the last 5 years and exactly the reason why gas prices have spiked in the recent past due to low inventories. Gas prices will continue this wild fluctuation until we can get the Feds to stop over-regulating the industry.. and let domestic production(Alaska & Gulf coast) be a viable source of raw crude.

Damn I need some coffee and a smoke 😉

I drive a Volvo 740 4cyl and I've never noticed gas prices. No it's not the fastest thing in the world (though it does do a rock solid 115mph), but it's nice to be able to go wherever the heck I want to and not ever consider the cost of gas for the trip.

<< Gas prices will continue this wild fluctuation until we can get the Feds to stop over-regulating the industry >>

Right. Oh, but every other industry that has been deregulated has resulted in higher costs for consumers!
...russ

There is a price war going on in Alpharetta/Duluth, GA. Most,if not all gas stations are going to sell it to you for .74-.75. Now bear in mind ,that was on Friday, and the price probably has dropped since then.

Peace
