I've gotten several Ultra rebates back, but I am still waiting for 2 of them from last Nov. that have been approved. Every email gets an "approved and processing" response. These are from Onrebate though.

White Bear Lake is some company called "Helgeson" or "Rebate-Zone." I sort of like the rebate tracking of OnRebate because you knew if a rebate was approved and that the check "should" be on it's way (even though it would often take months of waiting.)

Helgeson is supposed to be more reliable, but very slow to even find out if you're getting paid (because they don't post "paid" on the tracking until the check is mailed) and they only seem to be a little faster than OnRebate.

Oh well... beats the days of old. I think online rebate tracking has spoiled us. In the days of old, we had to wait until either the check (Yeah!) or postcard (boo!) came in the mail.

Wish that the rebate works for B&M purchase

Are you sure it doesn't?

I did 2 rebates with the White Bear Lake ones and I sent it in Certified.

Got both in about 6 weeks time.

Originally posted by: Fallengod judging from reviews it seems to have decent rails. However it looks like it only has about a 70% efficiency rating, which is fairly bad. Youll make up in your electric bill the cost you save with the rebate. 🙂 Just for your info.
Maybe that's where they make their profit -- kick-backs from power companies?! 🙂

Excellent deal! I'm in for one! Onrebate was the best thing ever... hopefully this rebate-zone is also good...

Thanks OP

how is the noise ?

I picked up one of these in the Radio Shack FAR deal a few months ago. Got my rebate, no problems, nice power supply.....only one step down from the top brands. Ultra has come a long way in terms of PS quality in the past couple of years. The early units were definately dud's, but these are keepers.

I took a plunge as well. It is a free product AR. You can not beat that :-D
Edit: Make sure to select the Ground Shipment Option.

Yup. I'm in... I was just lamenting about that... Now to find a case without a stupid door. WTF people want doors for anyway?

Oh, and I've gotten 2 ultra rebates w/o issue... Microfly case and 400watt power supply.... Amazing they can stay in business...

decided to get one as a backup. Can someone tell me where to get the rebate form? Is there a link? Thanks.

You scroll down on the Outpost product page and click "Download the pdf". Here's a direct link to the rebate.

Can't click on PDF at work. Does anyone know if rebate will work for B&M? Otherwise I will wait for free shipping.

Yeah... I found out today. They shipped a limited quantity to Fry's warehouse only to be sold on Frys.com. When they're gone, they're gone. Any others (in store or replacement stock) will be at regular price w/ no rebate.

Didn't need it, but a spare PS is always a good thing to have around....damn these hot deals! LOL

It'll cost me $11.65 + stamp AR.....definately HOT.
