Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 Pro vs. Shure E4C

Does anyone have any opinion on these headphones (sound, comfort, etc...)? I have the UE Super.Fi 3 which I like but I'm ready to upgrade to a little better set.

From what I've read the E4 has a lot less bass and more high end detail. I've heard the super.for 5 pros and they are pretty much the opposite of that. Lots of bass and a rolled off highs, but I found the bass to be excessive. It comes down to what sort of presentation you like, lots of detail or lots of bass. Go to head-fi.org to read up on these.

Yeah I read a bunch of threads on head-fi.org and it's about 50-50 for which one people prefer. So you have the super.fi 5 pros?

I bought the Wesone UM2's for $250. It's like the superfi but the bass isn't quite as prominent. But I would wait for the new Westone 3 if you can afford it.

Depending on how similar the E3C's are, I don't recommend them, I have 2 pairs and don't really like them much after comparing to what else is out there. Maybe my issue with them is just the difference between IEM's and closed headphones? (I use the Sennheiser HD280's now)

I've read reviews and everything says that the E4C's are in a totally different league as the E3C's.
