The Left mocked it up as usual. Boris Johnson FTW! Enjoy your imported American health insurance blokes!
I mean I'm a nurse, I'll get paid a lot more in a privatised health service. This doesn't mean that I think that it's a good idea for the nation.
Boris is a buffoon, itll be interesting to see who he blames his next failures in negotiations with the EU on.

early indications was the opposite... london fallen... strong labour turnout... panic mail from Boris... and then

At some point, Europe stops giving extensions and kicks them out, right?
It's more likely that Boris ignores the hard Brexit wing of the party and negotiates a fairly soft Brexit. That does involve him getting a decent majority though.
I have no faith in his competence in this though and I can see him fucking it up utterly and having to call another referendum himself.

Perhaps instead of ignorantly ignoring majority of voters and instead just condemning them because they don't align with you.... perhaps... you... be more accepting?

Nah!

Its his usual response to things he is unable to actually understand.

We get it. You're butt-hurt you keep losing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

BUT.... I'm sure.... NEXT TIME... you guys got this. Keep on keepin' on champ.

Ahhh. I get it. You're pretty shallow and you can't think beyond politics being a team sport!
You have no understanding about political issues and how current events affect them. This is now noted and I'll put you on the virtual remedial table!

First, we Americans are coming after your patient records in order to monetize them. All your NHS big data is belong to Big Pharma now!

And Jeremy Corbyn literally quits! Oh man, this is almost as good as Trump winning 2016.

'This is a mandate to get Brexit done': Boris Johnson hails huge Tory victory as election result puts him on track for SIXTY-FOUR majority - as Jeremy Corbyn QUITS after Labour records worst result since 1935
  • Exit poll has given the first indication of results after ballot boxes closed in biggest election for a generation
  • The prediction shows voters handing the Tories a whopping 368 seats with Labour collapsing to just 191
  • The result would mean a huge 64 Commons majority and be the worst Labour showing in modern history
  • Early results in Labour strongholds in the North East have borne out early signs of a swing to Conservatives
  • Tories pulled off jaw-dropping results in constituencies like Workington, Blythe Valley and Bishop Auckland
  • There were small crumbs of comfort for Remainers as tactical voting defeated the Conservatives in Putney
  • Results are due to come pouring in from around 3am, with big Labour names at risk of being ousted in the rout

"It would also make Johnson the most electorally successful Conservative leader since Margaret Thatcher, another politician who was loved and loathed in almost equal measure. "

So we haven't seen a win this big since Margaret Thatcher, WOW. The people have spoken (again), and they want Brexit. Let this be the shot heard round the world that no amount of delaying, stalling, fake-impeaching, milkshakes, whining and crying are going to stop Populist movements like Brexit and Trump. This is the canary in the coal mine for November 2020 in the U.S. that voters are are tired of the media, ivory tower leftists at universities, big tech censors and their handlers like the neoliberals that plague the Democrat party. Yet I digress, kudos to BoJo and his massive, massive win. Let the teeth gnashing begin!

Yo where my leftists at? We need your thoughts to discuss how awesome this is... /crickets

Is there a crying emoji on this site? I haven't been here in a hot one. Man, looking at the rules it seems like you guys can't even insult me personally anymore. This is gonna be a fun 2020. How do I change my avatar to a pic of my 2 yr old in his new MAGA cap. We've been winning so much I've been away partying the past 3 years.

How is what you're accusing others of doing any different than what you're doing? When do you ever not ignorantly ignore others and instead just straw man their arguments for them? When do you ever not mock and condemn others because they don't align with you? When have you ever been accepting? Seriously.

Translated: my dreams of right-wing rule fuelled by ignorance, hatred and greed are finally coming true! Screw those concepts like "knowledge," "truth" and "compassion."

(Also: lol at thinking Johnson and Trump are men of the people. They'd throw your whole family to the wolves if it meant more money in their pockets.)

Let's revisit this if and when Johnson gets his fantasies of a hard Brexit and messes up the UK, which he will.

Lol. I mean just lol.

Sure if the Brits were better off because of Leftist policies they've been voting for the past decade, they would've voted for Corbyn in a landslide right? Or maybe their lives are significantly worse than 10 years ago and they're sick and tired of being told what to do by the EU and fake pols who act like they're going to do what they want? Just as people in the U.S. got sick of 3 TV channels telling us how to think and vote.

Boris and Trump are a helluva lot better than anything we've had in the past 50 years. They are goofy but at least genuine. And most people like that they flip flop, by the way. Changing your position as more information is exchanged is a sign of utmost intelligence, which many that I've read here lack. I'm willing to change my stance but you better have solid evidence to back your claims. For example, many of you will be shocked to know that I've actually stopped eating meat products and protein supps. Still hitting the weights hard, but even a middle-aged dog like me can change.

I predict the biggest asshole and most destructive person will win because the level of self hate in the human population is reaching levels where the unconscious wish for self destruction has reached a point where it will begin more and more evidently to manifest. We are due for a nice round of mass psychosis it would seem.

As population pressures continue to increase in our modern consequence-insulated environment, the evolutionary drive to stem the population growth will become manifest the way it always has in the absence of plague or famine: through war, mass murder, and genocide. But first, divisions must be found and claims must be staked in order to have something to fight over.
A few years ago, I was having a political discussion with a professional acquaintance. He's older and conservative, wealthy and considers himself self-made even though he started his business with his father's money. But I still respected him, and our conversation was civil and intellectual. He considers himself a libertarian and was, as always, complaining about big govt and taxes. So I asked him, what do you want from govt? You're not anarchist, right? Of course not, he said. So what do really want from govt? And he said (and yes I do quote) that what he wanted was for the govt "to put more people to sleep." I was a little confused, and asked if he meant the death penalty for criminals. To which he agreed, but then he said, "more than that... some people just don't belong here.. they're a drag on society, and I think that the govt should be able to put them to sleep." I was a little taken aback by this, but recovered and said, I feel certain that the people that you want the govt to put to sleep won't think that that's the actions of a small govt.
We've never had another political conversation since.

One of the stories I read was about labour MPs unsure if Corbyn was a negative factor, or if it was just brexit... Lol

He was just awful, I don't understand what they saw in him in the first place. Labour has burned their house down.

On the US side, it's this kinda stuff that worries me about Bernie. He's not an anti-Semite like Corbin, but I don't have any confidence he'd be effective at getting anything passed. Too pie in the sky, too far left.
