This is obviously intended as a joke, or they wouldn't say "no pressure" after showing people getting blown up. It's an incredibly sick and twisted joke. Not funny at all. And amazingly stupid, but a joke nonetheless.

yea the joke is there's no pressure you're just going to die if you don't do it. not much of a joke, they just tried to add humor to their fucked up message and failed miserably. fail message is fail.

Is this SERIOUSLY an advert FOR the 1010 campaign? 'Cause the little blurbs about fair use made me think it was an anti-1010 commercial.

For those who like me waited until after work, it's very NSFW, sort of a very gory Pythonesque skit. It's in bad taste, but it made me laugh as the violence is sort of cartoony though very graphic.

Regardless, a campaign to get people to voluntarily cut CO2 emissions seems pretty benign to me. I much prefer it to cap-n-tax plans by which government selects winners and losers among industry if not individual companies.

The political landscape will be littered with these propaganda pieces from now on. One can only imagine the twisted ideas being hatched in the minds of strategists for political causes worldwide.

The media will be whining and crying all the way to the bank when they start running these ads.

Yes that is the joke. They are taking a stab at irony. And yes, FAIL is almost too weak a word for it.

I posted this in the other Climate Change thread yesterday at 3:47. It's just another example of the hatred and bigotry shown by the Global Warmists to anyone that doesn't agree with them. Other examples are Robert F. Kennedy Jr. calling for the treating of Global Warming skeptics as traitors in 2007. NASA's James Hansen (i'm sure we can still trust their data though...) calling for prosecution of Global Warming skeptics for high crimes against humanity in 2009. The Climate Progress blogger Joe Romm calling for Global Warming skeptics to be strangled in their beds. It's not new, it's not even unusual for the radical Global Warming eco-terrorists to be threatening peoples lives, jobs and welfare it's just a pretty blatant example of their extremism.

LOL at the people who think this is intended as an actual threat to kill people.

- wolf

It's no joke. They are the ones with the button blowing the good people up. It is just turned around so they can see who they are. They are killing us and get upset when it's them being offed. It's a perfectly symmetrical message.

So, are you offended or upset or what?

Do you need counselling?

How about a hug?

nah i just think it's fucking fail, if you read my post on the first page i actually like the fact they didn't pull any punches. they fuckin had no problem showing children blow up in a class room, that's awesome. the commercial itself doesn't bother me one bit, i've always wondered why children are so taboo to kill in media. Sucks you can't run the little fuckers down in GTA.

of course it isn't, but the message is an obvious "reduce or go fuck off and die"

Now now, that is how you see others who don't agree with how you see things. Really, it's cool, you don't have to participate. No pressure.

We're supposed the be the violent ones WelshBloke. How dare you Brits try to steal that shit from us. All I want to be able to do is kill everyone and everything equally in video games, children should not be off limits.

Which once again shows that British humor sucks ass.

What bothers me is how the person dies. They didn't die because of pollution or global warming, but because they were killed by another human. wtf?
