Ugh, my girlfriend needs to wake her ass up!

Here it is 11:00am, and my girlfriend is still sleeping! She's like this every day. She will go to bed at like 10:30 or 11:00 the night before, and sleep until 10:30. She's still in school, and works only part time, so she can get away with this schedule, but still. She says she needs her 12 hours of sleep! 12 hours of sleep?? Who NEEDS 12 hours of sleep? Last night, she went to bed at 12:30am, so she feels she needs to sleep until 12:30pm to get her 12 hours. I called her to see what she was doing, and she got pissed at me for waking her up "so early" at 11:00am! Geez, I went to bed at 12:30am too, but I dragged my ass out of bed at 6:45am to get to work.

My fiancee is like that every chance she gets... every weekend she sleeps her 12-14 hours. I'm like WTF... I can't go much past 8 hours even on weekends. I think it's more laziness than anything.

I dated a girl who was constantly late for everything. Most women I know are usually on time, maybe 5 minutes late. However she was constantly tardy for any occassion..class, :Q shopping, work. She was really caring though... damn.. this thread and the marriage thread really opened up an old box of wounds

My ex used to sleep at like 3AM and wake up at like 2PM in the afternoon. She expected me to stay up and go out with her at like 10PM till like 1AM. Thing is, I have to work in the morning!

I use to get that much of sleep too when I'm in school, but now I'm done with school and working. So usually I get about 6 hours of sleep and like 12 hours of sleep during weekend.

Don't be so quick to judge people as lazy, there may be a medical reason.

On weekends I frequently sleep for 12+ hours, no matter how much I sleep I never feel rested.

Last night I had a sleep test done at a local hospital, my blood oxygen levels were repeatedly dropping below normal ranges causing me to partially wake. I was never reaching REM sleep. I spent the second half of the night with a CPAP machine, & my oxygen levels stayed in normal ranges.

I'll be sleeping from now on (well, whenever I get my machine) with a mask, hopefully now I'll be able to get proper sleep. I've essentially spent the last 5 years perpetually sleep deprived, it had nothing to do with being lazy.
