gsp is not a boring fighter. it amazes me that people think so. the skill and techinical ability he shows blows me away each time i watch him.


GSP vs siliva would be a great fight. i don't see GSP winning (i should say i if you asked that BEFORE his injury i would say gsp had a chance) but i do see it going 5 rounds.

the real fight everyone i want to see and makes sense to solidify AS as the GOAT is a JBJ fight.

going down a weight glass with a fighter off a major injury? nope not going to solidify your GOAT status. now going UP a weight class and knock off a dominate fighter like JbJ? yeah sure in the hell will.

see i feel diffrent. knowing bonnar's history the fight just solified the fact that AS needs to face JBJ and not GSP.


it showed how fucking great he is. This was the FIRST time bonnar has been KO'd. he has faught some amazing fighters too. hell he went the distance with JBJ and didn't get knocked out.

yet he was done with a knee shot!


really AS needs to fight JBJ!

I didn't think Silva could make Bonnar look like more of a joke then Griffin, but he did. In fact, it was so lopsided it looked fixed.

good god i hope so. that is the only fight i really want to see. I have little interest in GSP vs AS. GSP would lose.

I really want Weidman to get his shot, but in fairness, he needs to beat Bisping first. He will be a future MW champ, one way or another.

My interest in GSP/AS died when Bonnar hit the canvas last night. It wouldn't even be a fair fight.

exactly my thoughts. I would always give GSP a chance in the fight. but after last night? nope.

GSP skillwise is far far better then griffon and bonnar. Bonnar is one tough SOB.

though GSP"s wrestling is better then either and no way would GSP try to stand and trade with AS. Cheal showed that AS could be beaten with take downs. that is if you don't get knocked out while you are standing..

yeah, couldnt believe how much disrepect silva showed for Bonnars skill (or lack there of).
just leaned against the cage w/his hand down and let Bonnar tee off on him. showed that silva has a good chin.


so i guess the next logical step is to throw full 265lb HW vs silva.

LOL. Are you kidding me? People have booed GSP's fights for the lack of excitement. Skill and technical ability aside, GSP is not an exciting fighter that finishes his fights, most of them go the distance. That's boring! Silva has had a few boring fights that have drawn jeers from the crowd, but nothing like the amount of fights GSP has where he couldn't finish his opponent.

Seriously? Bonnar is an extremely durable guy.

I thought it would at least take him until the 2nd round to pick him apart. Maybe a stoppage due to cuts.

Last night just showed that Silva is operating on a level that no other fighter has reached, yet.

As if had not demonstrated this in his previous fights.
I don't like the guy, I was all smile when Sonnen was beating the crap out of him but it turned out Sonnen was doping and he still got beaten....

What does that tell you?

Pure talent or he is doing something nobody else has figured out yet.

btw- where exactly did silva knee bonnar? looked like the same spot as Sonnen?

My personal choice for submission of the night. Maia is an animal at welterweight. He manhandled Story and Kim, who are two of the stronger guys at 170.
