Rumble needs to be cut, it's funny how unprofessional he is when in comparison to Vitor who I believe to be another extremely unprofessional fighter.

There is no defense for missing weight his whole "I got ill!" is bullshit, he got ill because he was cutting to much weight, he would have died trying to hit 185, which means he cannot possibly weigh 185 pounds. and we're supposed to blame the doctor for rehydrating him? sounds to me like excuses from a bitch. i do not like fighters who have very little skill and just try to out muscle and outsize guys. AJ is no different than Brock Lesnar, but at least Brock had to eventually fight guys his size(if you can believe it lol).

no skill? whole brock had issues in MMA (could not take a hit) to say he just relied on his size and had little skill is silly. he is no GSP for sure but he has skill. just no backbone when it comes to getting hit.

Rumble needs to be cut. he is boasting about being so big and laughing at people saying he is cheating. Hope he gets knocked out the 1st round but i doubt it.

Brock does not have much skill in MMA, sorry he doesn't. He has pretty decent wrestling, I have a differing opinion of it due to people I know who had participated in D1 collegiate wrestling and said he did the same thing there. Use his enormous size and strength to win wrestling matches. He is obviously much more skilled than the average joe, but in comparison to a professional MMA fighter no he doesn't have much at all. He used his size and bullied people. GSP actually has skills, he just isn't a fighter at heart he's an athlete. Roman vs Greek kind of deal.

lol you don't get 106-5 (or 105-6? something like that) on size alone. I wrestled from 6-25 (granted at a max of 119 lbs) i have watched a few of his matches he faced guys AS BIG as him and still won. The guy was a freak. strong, fast and great skill.

for a guy who has been fighting only a few years he was good. he had good MMA wrestling and hit hard. Hell when he faced Mir the 2nd time he made a black belt BJJ guy look like a noob.

his big issue (besides health) is he can't take a punch.

A 2nd weigh in for AJ, he came in at 204.2, so the fight is on and Vitor gets %20 of AJ's purse.

I find it amazing a so called proffesional can miss it by that much. Though i have become a vitor fan!

he is like yeah ok miss weight and cheat. i don't care i'm still going to fuck you up.

I wonder how much AJ is by fight time?

Still not fair when you consider what AJ compared to Vitor. While 20% of his purse is a sizable loss to AJ its pennies to Vitor. Rumble makes $20,000 plus win bonus while Vitor makes $225,000 plus a win bonus.

Ha! I saw that one, too!

11 lbs over!

Don't think it's a catch-weight fight, I think it's moved up to LHW.

His big issue is he doesn't have a very good skill set and tried to get along on being bigger than people. The guy is a bully, you can tell by his personality. Look at how easily he crumbled and ran away like a little bitch. Please spare me the non-sense of "well you don't do it", duh I chose not to, that man chose to try and be a hardass and got made a fool.

AJ isn't doing himself any favors with his comments about his weight cutting fiasco. It's funny how it's not his fault he cannot physically weigh 185 pounds without dying, nope not his at all. Pathetic, I don't care if they cut him or not, I just have no interest watching him fight and I'll smear him every chance I get.

I believe this is the worst paid card I've ever seen. There have been Fight Nights better than this on paper. Of course....they don't fight on paper....

Weird thing about this sport though is that you never can tell. Some times these days make for remarkable nights. There was one about 3 or 4 cards ago where it seemed every fight on the under card ended up in a finish.

Here are my obligatory picks:

Lightweight bout: Edson Barboza vs. Terry Etim
Welterweight bout: Erick Silva vs. Carlo Prater
Middleweight bout: Rousimar Palhares vs. Mike Massenzio
Catchweight (197 lb) bout: Vitor Belfort vs. Anthony Johnson
Featherweight Championship: José Aldo vs. Chad Mendes

Look out in the Barboza / Etim fight. That could be a barn burner. Both guys are lanky and scrappy and have amazingly effective kicks.

What made you think Etim would win?

Edit: And Carlo Prater???
